Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

The archetypal Grimoire Sealer excel at fighting mages and spellcasters. These fighters are proficient at using energy that can nullify and harm magical forces. Anti-Magic is the common term for this power, but this energy can manifest in many different ways. Grimoire Sealers are often the fighters who are sent to fight and deal with intensely powerful wizards and sorcerers, as they often have the tools needed to fight back against their reality warping abilities. Spells and magical effects are like butter to these martials blades, as they strike and slash their way through the arcane.

Anti-Magic Attacks

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your damage is not halved when calculating the Difficulty Class of Concentration checks caused by your weapons.

Dispelling Reverb

Starting at 3rd level, you can send shock waves of anti-magic down the magic connecting casters to their spells. When you hit a creature currently under the effects of a spell that requires concentration with a weapon attack, you can choose to force the creature concentrating to make a Concentration saving throw as if you attacked them.

Counter Strike

Starting at 7th level, when a creature inside of your weapon's reach casts a spell, you can use your reaction to interrupt the spell and cancel its effect. If the creature is casting a spell that's level is equal to your proficiency bonus or lower, its spell fails and has no effect. If it is casting a higher level spell, make a weapon attack. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a success, the creature's spell fails and has no effect.

You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus, before needing to take a short rest to use it again.

Residual Anti-Magic

At 10th level, you begin producing anti magic at any given moment. You and all allies within 5 feet of you gain Magical Resistance, granting advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Arcane Rebound

Starting at 15th level, When a spell targets someone in your reach, you can turn that spell on the attacker. If a spell attack targets you or an ally within your weapons reach, you can use your reaction to redirect the attack towards the caster. The attacker rolls to hit against their own armor class, hitting themselves if they beat it.

Defy Magic

At 18th level, you actively ignore the arcane unless it's been cultivated high enough. You are immune to all damage and conditions cast by spells of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level. Additionally, you can ignore the spell effects of spells of those levels on yourself and others.

As a bonus action, you can also choose to become immune to the effects of all spells and magical effects of your choice. These benefits last until the start of your next turn, and you can only use this once per long rest.
