Bard
Base Class: Bard

You have mastered your weapons in such a way that you can do a range of fancy tricks with them, perhaps as a circus act, or simply to put some much-needed style and flair in the act of dispatching your enemies. Whatever the case, you're like a twirling gunslinger of old, utilizing your firearms with sheer deadly flourish and swagger.

Bonus Skill Proficiencies

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the Acrobatics and the Sleight of Hand skills if you are not already proficient with them.

Fighting Style

At 3rd level, you adopt a particular style of ranged shooting for quicker and more accurate shots with firearms.

Marksmanship

You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.

Trickshooter

At 3rd level, you learn several fancy Trickshots to perform with the firearms you are proficient with. These tricks will only work when using your firearm to fire single shots. Once per turn or round, you may expend one use of your Bardic Inspirations to do the following Trickshots:

• Painful Shot: You know just where to aim to cause additional injury. You do extra damage to the target you hit with a single-shot firearm attack. The damage equals the number you roll on the Bardic Inspiration die.

• Richochet: You know how to shoot at solid objects at just the right angle to bounce your round back into your desired target. If a creature is within 5 feet of a solid surface or object, such as a wall, a parked car, or any other suitable, sturdy surface (GM's discretion), you may choose one of the following outcomes:

1. Reroll a missed single-shot firearm attack, making your attack at Disadvantage as the missed round ricochets back toward the target.

2. Attempt to hit a creature behind cover. You treat cover as being one step down from its actual degree, treating half cover as no cover, three-quarters cover as half cover, and total cover as three-quarters cover.

• Disarming Shot: When you hit a creature with a single-shot firearm attack, you may attempt to disarm it alongside your normal damage. You make your attack at Disadvantage against the targeted creature's Strength or Dexterity saving throw. If successful you damage it like normal and force it to drop one item of your choice that it's holding at the same time.

• Disabling Shot: When you hit a creature with a single-shot firearm attack, you may attempt to hinder it in some way instead of doing full damage. You make your attack at Disadvantage and the targeted creature must make a Constitution saving throw to resist this outcome when successfully hit. The save DC is 8 + your Proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier. If successful you may choose one of the following outcomes:

1. You only do half damage, rounded down, as you shoot the creature in the leg (or whichever other body part it uses for locomotion) and reduce its speed by half on its next turn. It regains its full speed the turn after that.

2. You only do half damage, rounded down, as you shoot the creature in the limb holding its weapon and force its next attack to be rolled at Disadvantage.

Fast Hands

At 6th level, the speed at which you use your firearms is simply blinding. You can now attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Additionally, when you want to reload weapons with the Reload property or the Breech property, you may expend one of your Bardic Inspiration die instead of spending an Action or Bonus Action to do so. Firearms that you are holding with the Reload and Breech property are instantly loaded in full.

Master Trickshooter

At 14th level, you learn an additional number of tricks. You gain the following features:

• Mastered the Basics: Through experience and practice, you've mastered old tricks. You can now roll your 3rd level Trickshots like normal, without Disadvantage, and you may now use Burst attacks for them as well. Additionally, the required range to a suitable surface for a successful Richochet is increased from 5 feet to 15 feet

Additionally, once per turn or round, you may expend one use of your Bardic Inspirations to do the following Trickshots:

• Kill Shot: You know just where to shoot to (hopefully) put someone down for good. You make a single-shot firearm attack at Disadvantage, but if successful you do even more damage to the targeted creature. The damage equals twice the number you roll on the Bardic Inspiration die.

• Breaking Shot: When you hit a creature with a single-shot firearm attack, you may attempt to break its firearm instead of doing normal damage. You make your attack at Disadvantage and the targeted creature must make a Misfire roll, at Disadvantage, for its firearm to make it malfunction or damage it completely.

• Intercepting Shot: As a Reaction, you may attempt to shoot another projectile that is about to hit you or an ally. Roll your firearm's single-shot attack against an AC of 14 for slower-moving projectiles such as grenades, throwing knives, javelins, or arrows and bolts, or against an AC of 18 for single-shot attacks from firearms. If successful, you shoot the projectile out of the air and make the attack miss.
