Base Class: Rogue
The Follower of the Raven Queen is a rogue who has dedicated their life to the mysterious deity known as the Raven Queen. This enigmatic goddess holds dominion over the delicate balance between life and death, fate and destiny. Those who follow her path become skilled agents who straddle the boundary of the mortal realm and the shadowy realm of the afterlife.
These rogues possess a unique set of abilities that allow them to navigate the tenuous space between life and death. Their signature feature, "On Death's Door," grants them the uncanny ability to defy death itself, enabling them to survive when others would perish. Whether by a twist of fate or their connection to the Raven Queen's realm, they can push their physical limits, evade mortal threats, and even draw strength from the brink of annihilation.
As they progress in their journey, Followers of the Raven Queen gain powers that reflect their affinity for the necrotic, allowing them to resist such energies and harness them for their own purposes. Their "Death's Resilience" feature bolsters their survivability with resistance to necrotic damage and the ability to bolster their own life force.
In the heat of combat, these rogues are masters of stealth and subterfuge, striking from the shadows and manipulating the moments just before death claims their foes. They are elusive and deadly reapers who use their deep understanding of the final moments of life to their advantage. Their connection to the Raven Queen allows them to glean knowledge from the souls of the departed, making them invaluable for uncovering secrets hidden beyond the veil of mortality.
Ultimately, the Follower of the Raven Queen is a rogue whose path is shrouded in mystery and darkness, embodying the inexorable force of death while harnessing its power to become an agile, elusive, and relentless agent of fate.
