Base Class: Fighter

Titans of the battlefield, Dragoons excel in getting up close and personal with the enemy.  Dragoons are extremely resilient and can adapt their fighting style rapidly.

Combat Stance

Extensive combat training has prepared the Dragoon to utilize and adapt its weapon posture to any combat situation as necessary.  As a bonus action, you can assume either the Offensive or Defensive Combat Stance.

The Offense Combat Stance allows you to add a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls as long as the attack roll is made with a two-handed melee weapon with the heavy property.  This bonus increases to +2 at level 7 in this class and +3 at level 10 in this class.

The Defensive Combat Stance allows you to add a +1 bonus to your AC as long as you are wearing heavy armor.  This bonus increases to +2 at level 7 in this class and +3 at level 10 in this class.

Martial Reflexes

You gains proficiency in Dexterity saving throws.  If you already have this proficiency, you instead gain proficiency in Strength or Constitution saving throws (your choice).

Unstoppable Juggernaut

You have become an unstoppable force in motion.  When you use your Action Surge, until the end of your turn, if you move at least 10 feet in a straight line right before attacking a creature and you hit it with the attack, that target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be knocked prone.   You don't provoke opportunity attacks for the rest of the turn, whether you hit or not.

Improved Combat Stance

In addition to the +3 attack and damage bonus, the Offense Combat Stance also adds a +1 AC bonus while you are wearing heavy armor.

In addition to the +3 AC bonus, the Defensive Combat Stance also adds a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls as long as the attack roll is made with a two-handed melee weapon with the heavy property.

Terrifying Display of Violence

The brutal efficiency that you display in striking down your enemies strikes terror in those around you.  Whenever you kill a creature, all enemy creatures within 60 feet of you that can see you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be frightened you for 1 minute.  Creatures that are frightened in this way can repeat the saving throw at the end of their turn.  Creatures that do not see are immune to this effect.
