Base Class: Monk
You come from a monastery of psychic monks who are largely peaceful, but nonetheless train intensively for combat so that those who attempt to prey on "defenseless monks" will feel the magnitude of their misguidance.
Warp Palm Strike
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can channel psychic energy to make a long distance palm strike.
You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. This special attack is a ranged unarmed strike with a range of 10-30 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Strength modifier to its attack and damage rolls. It's damage is Psychic, and it's damage die is a d4. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.
After you take the Attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, but before damage is dealt, you can spend 1 ki point to deal an additional +1 Psychic damage for every 5 feet traveled with the attack. The creature damaged by this attack must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw, being forced back the same distance traveled with the attack and knocked prone on a failure.
When you gain the Extra Attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action.
Mind Blade
At 6th level, you gain the ability to channel your ki into a psychic blade that you can control telepathically. Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 2 ki points to summon a psychic longsword that you control telepathically for 1 minute as a bonus action. This psychic blade grants you one additional Melee weapon attack action that has a range of 60 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity or Strength modifier to its attack and damage rolls. When attacking with this blade telepathically it's damage die is one tier lower than a typical longsword and you add your Dexterity modifier to it's attack and damage rolls. When attacking physically you can choose to use the blade as your normal attack action, it's damage die is equal to a typical longsword and you add your Strength modifier to it's attack and damage rolls. The blade's damage is Psychic. The psychic blade is considered a monk weapon.
You can spend an additional 2 ki points to summon a psychic greatsword instead.
Shatter Slash
At 11th level, you gain the ability to psychically propel yourself to the location of your psychic blade in the blink of an eye. By spending 2 ki points, as a part of your ranged attack action with your psychic blade, you may propel yourself to it, seemingly appearing wherever the blade was with it in your hands, adding +2 Psychic damage for every 5 feet you traveled. The damage die for this attack is the same as a physical strike with the psychic blade.
If a creature is killed by your psychic blade, you may make an additional attack with it, ranged or otherwise, as a bonus action.
Psychic Rending
At 17th level, your sheer will drains your foes of their life energy. When a creature is killed by you with Psychic damage, you drain their psychic energy, restoring 1 of your ki points.
Your normal unarmed strikes now deal Psychic damage instead of bludgeoning.
