Base Class: Barbarian
In the unforgiving lands of Mythos Earth, strength alone won't ensure survival—the cunning to use it wisely is just as vital. Barbarians who walk the Path of the Wasteland Warlord not only revel in their own battlefury but channel that primal energy into commanding forces and shaping the post-apocalyptic battlefield. These Barbarians are often the leaders of raiding parties, renegade militia, or self-formed survivalist groups, their reputation echoing loudly through the radioactive dunes and ruined cities.
Wasteland Warlords are often deeply entwined with the communities they hail from or protect. They may be chieftains, war generals, or revered defenders in a world where lawlessness often reigns. The tribes or communities they lead often adopt the Warlord’s own ethos, mimicking their combination of wild fury and tactical shrewdness. As a Wasteland Warlord, you not only embrace your own inner chaos but orchestrate it on a grander scale, channeling the pandemonium of Mythos Earth itself.
Tactical Rage
When you enter a rage, you can choose to also grant the benefits of your rage damage bonus to allies within 30 feet of you until the start of your next turn. They must be able to see or hear you to gain this benefit.
Wasteland Command
You gain the ability to issue orders to your allies during combat as a bonus action. You can command one ally within 60 feet to either make an attack, move up to their speed, or take the Dodge action without expending their own action. The ally must be able to see or hear you to benefit from this feature.
Unyielding Warlord
Your commanding presence allows you and your allies to shrug off debilitating conditions. While raging, you and allies within 30 feet of you have advantage on saving throws against being frightened or paralyzed.
Battlefield Manipulator
You learn how to alter the battlefield to favor your forces. As an action, you can manipulate the environment within a 60-foot radius, creating difficult terrain, makeshift barriers, or minor hazards (like a patch of slippery ground). This lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action.
Sovereign of the Wastes
Your presence on the battlefield becomes nearly godlike. While raging, as a reaction to an enemy within 60 feet making an attack or casting a spell, you can redirect the target of the attack or spell to another creature within range. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
