Base Class: Fighter
In the post-apocalyptic world of Mythos Earth, where technology and magic entwine in precarious balance, Scourge Wardens are the ultimate survivors. They adapt and thrive in environments deemed uninhabitable by others. Born from the need to defend scattered settlements against threats both magical and technological, these fighters excel in exploiting the weaknesses of their enemies and protecting their own.
As a Scourge Warden, you're not just a fighter; you are a beacon of hope and resilience. Your experiences and specialized training make you a natural leader, especially when venturing into hostile territories. You have a solemn responsibility to protect and guide, and your connection to the remnants of the Old World offers you both wisdom and weaponry that few can match.
Warden's Intuition
You gain proficiency in the Insight and Perception skills if you don't already have them. You can sense weaknesses in creatures you encounter, giving you advantage on Insight checks to discern their vulnerabilities.
Scourge Arsenal
You've learned to modify traditional weapons with scavenged technology and arcane elements. Choose two damage types: fire, cold, acid, lightning, or necrotic. You can switch your weapon's damage type to one of these as a bonus action.
Adaptive Combatant
When you are hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to gain resistance to that attack’s damage type until the start of your next turn.
Warding Stance
As a bonus action, you can enter a Warding Stance that lasts for 1 minute. While in this stance, you provide half cover to all allies within 10 feet of you. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses after a long rest.
Scourge Nova
When you score a critical hit or reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can unleash a burst of your chosen damage types from Scourge Arsenal. All creatures within a 10-foot radius must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d10 damage of one of the chosen types (your choice). The DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.
Warden's Pinnacle
You have become a master of adaptive combat. When you roll for initiative, you can choose one damage type. You gain immunity to this damage type until the end of combat. You can use this feature once per long rest.
