Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Before you most weapons are twigs, and before your wrath those in your hands grow to branches and trunks. Hand of the Titan barbarians have learned a butchery of the giant's runes and have learned to apply them almost instinctively.

Titan's Steel Grip

3rd-Level Hand of the Titan Feature

When you choose this path, you learn to speak, read, and write Giant or one other language of your choice if you already know Giant.

Additionally, you can use weapons with the Two-Handed property with one hand and use the two-handed damage option when wielding Versatile weapons in one hand. When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand, so long as your other hand is not wielding a weapon or shield, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.

Features from this class use you Titan save DC which is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier.

Massive Armament

3rd-Level Hand of the Titan Feature

When you enter your rage, your will itself carves runes into your blade. Your weapon near doubles in size, gaining the following effects until the end of your rage:

  • Titanic Momentum: When you move 10 feet directly at an creature before attacking them, your weapon deals an extra 1d6 damage on a hit.
  • Massive Force: Once per turn when you hit an creature no more than one size larger than you with your weapon, you can force it to make a Strength saving throw or be pushed back 10 feet. If the target fails the save by 5 or more, it is also knocked Prone.

Wall of Steel

6th-Level Hand of the Titan Feature

You've begun to experiment with how you wield your weapon, becoming accustomed to manipulating its bulk. In your well practiced hands, your blade acts as sword and shield, protecting from the damage and absorbing the shock of your enemy's assault. As a reaction to taking damage, you can interpose your blade between yourself and the effect, allowing the effect to push you back up to 20 feet and reducing the damage by half your barbarian level (rounded up). This movement is considered forced movement for the purpose of opportunity attacks.

You may use this reaction a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus.

Additionally, your insights into your oft laden movement have made unreasonably protective of your momentum, allowing you ignore the effects of non-magical difficult terrain.

Indiscriminate Assault

10th-Level Hand of the Titan Feature

Now, you begin to put the weight and reach of your weapon to work, much to the ire of all around you. Once per rage when you would activate Massive Force, you can choose to forgo its effect and instead activate one of the following effects (based on the damage type of your weapon). If you move at least 20 feet directly at an enemy before activating this feature, your chosen effect is amplified.

Bludgeoning. Your target, and all creatures in a 30 foot cone originating from your target and pointing directly away from you, must make a Strength saving throw as the force of your blow slams into them. On a failure, they take damage equal to your strength modifier + your rage bonus and are pushed back 15 feet. Amplified: On a failure, they also fall Prone as your force overwhelms them.

Piercing. Your target, and all creatures in a 30 foot line originating from your target and pointing directly away from you, must make a Constitution saving throw as you pierce directly through them. On a failure, they take damage equal to your strength modifier + your rage bonus and gain disadvantage on ability checks until the end of your next turn. Amplified: On a failure, they also gain disadvantage on attack rolls until the end of your next turn as you pierce something vital.

Slashing. Your target, and all other creatures within 10 feet of you, must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take damage equal to your strength modifier + your rage bonus and their speed is halved until the end of your next turn. Amplified: On a failure, they also cannot regain hit points until the end of your next turn as your slash spills their guts.

If a creature succeeds any one of your saving throws it takes damage equal to your strength modifier + your rage bonus and suffers no other effects.

Further, the damage of your Titanic Momentum increases to 2d6.
