Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Maybe you have made a pact with a fiend of sorts. Maybe you have made a deal with the fae. Perhaps you might even have made a deal with a powerful hag or coven of witches. Your reasons for forming such a pact, and your ultimate goals may vary greatly. Most witches are very unpredictable, with goals far beyond normal peoples understanding, but some are simply mischievous or downright evil. Witches have access to many different curses they can inflict on others, and a natural deceptiveness about them, that makes people, though sometimes varily, accept their gifts, often spelling their own doom in the process.

Enchanted Gift

Whenever you would cast a spell that requires a saving throw, you may instead create a cursed piece of food, such as an apple or a potion. Any creature that eats this food is immediately affected by the spell used to make the food, and if it makes a saving throw, it makes the roll with disadvantage. If the spell affects an area, that area originates from the creature, and if it affects them in a line, it only affects the creature that ate it. The spell does not require concentration as long as it is in the food, but after being eaten, you must concentrate on it as normal.
You may create a food this way without using a spell slot once per short rest, and if you do, you calculate the spells effects as if it were cast using a warlock spell slot. A food created with this feature lasts until a short or long rest, at which point it withers away.

Witchcraft Adept

At 1st level, you learn the art of witchcraft. You can weave together words in way that makes people accept your gifts as good and lies as truth and you learn to make potions at levels of speeds nearly unparalleled. You gain proficiency in deception and with the herbalism kit. For most witches, the herbalism kit is a bubbling cauldron. You may also use the herbalism kit as a spellcasting focus for your warlock spells. In addition, you require only a fraction of the time it would normally take to brew potions.

You can brew 2 common or 1 uncommon potions during a short rest, during which the brewing counts only as a light activity that doesn’t interrupt the rest. To brew rare, very rare and legendary potions you require a work day rather than the time it would take to brew them normally.

Invoke Curse

Starting at 6th level, you can invoke the dark magics of curses you have placed. As a bonus action, you can cause a creature affected by a curse of yours, such as the hex or bestow curse spell, or a curse from your cursed food, to make a wisdom saving throw against your warlock spell save DC. If the creature fails its save, the magics weaken it, and it has disadvantage on all its saving throws until end the end of your next turn, and all attack rolls made against it have advantage until the end of your next turn.

Improved Cursed Gift

At 10th level, your cursed gifts grow both more powerful and more autonomous. Spells originating from your cursed gift feature no longer require concentration. However, you can only have one spell not require concentration this way at a time. You may also end any spell originating from your gifts at any time, without requiring any action.

Grand Curse

At 14th level, you have mastered a truly evil and powerful curse. As an action, you can inflict this curse on a creature within 120 feet of you, that you can see. When you inflict this curse, and at the at the beginning of each of the affected creatures turns, the affected creature must make a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creatures speed is reduced by 10 feet, it has vulnerability to all damage, and it has disadvantage on all attacks it makes until it’s next turn. The curse lasts for one hour, but at the end of the duration, you may choose to start concentrating on the spell. If you do, the curse lasts until your concentration ends instead.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
