Base Class: Bard
These Bards are students of comedy who live for the sound of laughter, nimble tumblers with razor wits and biting words. Jesters know that humor can be much more than entertainment, and manipulate failure and buffoonery to their advantage. Members of this College are sometimes seen as fools, but that is how they like it, so that they have the privilege of making fools of others.
Quick Jest
Beginning at 3rd level, you know the true power of one's sense of self-worth, as such your mockery is deep cutting and quick. As a reaction when a creature you can see fails an attack roll, ability check or saving throw you can cast vicious mockery on them. When cast as a reaction the base damage die for the spell is 1d6 and all scaling uses this die as well. You may do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Unfortunate Inspiration
To a skilled Jester, even terrible failure is just another font of inspiration. When you roll a natural one on a die for an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw you regain one use of bardic inspiration. If you already have not yet used any bardic inspiration, you instead immediately receive bardic inspiration. Note that it still must be used within 10 minutes and a creature can have only one Bardic Inspiration die at a time. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short rest.
Taunting Mockery
At 6th level, whenever an enemy fails a saving throw against your Vicious Mockery cantrip, if that enemy's next attack before the end of its next turn is against an ally instead of you, it must make a saving throw against the Vicious Mockery cantrip again. If it fails, the attack's damage is reduced by one of your bardic inspiration die. This effect continues on the creature's following turns until it succeeds on this saving throw or makes an attack against you
Crowd Pleaser
You have mastered the art of performance in front of a crowd. Starting at 14th level, when you grant a creature Bardic Inspiration, you can choose to grant Bardic Inspiration to a second creature within 15 feet of the first without expending any of your Bardic Inspiration uses as a reaction.
