Base Class: Druid
While all druids venerate nature and, by extension, the cycle of life and death, this sect believes that in order to complete and continue this cycle on a cosmic scale, the world itself needs to die, in order to be reborn. In addition to embracing some of the most harmful aspects of the natural world, they also use necromantic arts to spread death throughout the lands that they inhabit.
Bonus Cantrip
When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you learn the chill touch cantrip. This cantrip counts as a druid spell for you. It does not count against the number of druid cantrips you know.
Reaper
As a follower of death, you are at home in the darkness, and have become familiar with the symbols of your order. At 2nd level, you gain Darkvision out to 60ft, or if you already have Darkvision, extend its range by 60ft. You also gain proficiency with war scythes (re-skinned glaive). You can use either a war scythe, sickle, or scimitar as your druidic focus.
Guise of the Grave
When you Wild Shape, you have the option of becoming an undead creature. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into an undead with a challenge rating as high as your Druid level divided by 3, rounded down (you ignore the Max. CR column of the Beast Shapes table, but must abide by the other limitations there). For Example, at level 2, you can transform into a CR 1/2 Skeleton or Zombie.
Circle Spells
At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of Scythes Spells table. Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn't appear on the druid spell llist, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.
