Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

You are the right hand of nature itself, and are rewarded for your oath to the greater good with greater power.  Nature's bounty brings you bountiful pact slots.

TENETS OF THE SUN PACT

Greatness.  Lead by example and be the greatest you that Solaire knows you can be.

Helpfulness.  Whenever you see others in need, offer a helping hand, whether their needs are big or small.

Jolly Cooperation.  Work with others to achieve common goals, or even uncommon goals.  Through jolly cooperation, anything is possible.

Pact Magic

So long as this remains your only source of Pact Magic, you have pact slots equal in level and number to the spell slots you gain from this class.  These pact slots are fully recovered on short rests, in addition to long rests, but otherwise function identically to your spell slots.  You can use either kind of slot when casting spells or using Divine Smite.

Your spell list is additionally now expanded to include Ranger spells.

Aura of the Sunbeam

Whenever you deal damage with Divine Smite, a sunbeam is momentarily summoned, centered on you, and causes 2 radiant damage for each Divine Smite damage die to each foe within 10 feet of you, other than the target struck with the Divine Smite.  Undead foes take 4 radiant damage per Divine Smite damage die instead..

When you reach level 18, the size of the sunbeam, and thus the range of this echoing damage, is extended to 30 feet.

Natural Harmony

You have proficiency in all saving throws.

Praise the Sun

You give praise to the giving light of the sun, an action which casts a continuous sunbeam down upon you for 1 minute.

While this effect is active, the damage of your Aura of the Sunbeam is increased by 2 radiant damage per damage die, and is now triggered by Improved Divine Smite too.  Additionally, whenever it is triggered, all friendly creatures, that aren't undead nor constructs and are within 30 feet of you, are healed by these echoes, restoring 2 health for each Divine Smite or Improved Divine Smite damage die.

You can use this feature twice.  One of these uses is restored on either short rests or long rests, but the second use is only restored on long rests.
