Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Cuisine are Chef's whose love for food and the process of preparing it exceeds that of normal cooks, granting them the ability to infuse their dishes with magic. Whether they are the dedicated cook of a small tavern, the personal Chef of a noble family or travelers looking for new ingredients and interesting tastes around the world, they put their heart and mind into every dish they prepare to please anyone who might come to the pleasure of eating it .

Being a Bard of the College of Cuisine is a symbol of pure dedication for the artful craft that cooking is, with most Bards dedicating their life to it. But with the endless knowledge of dishes, ingredients and techniques that exists around the world, many Bards come to the conclusion that they should master only a few types of Cuisine.

To combat the evils that want to hide the wonderful ingredients and recipes these Bards search, they learned to infuse their spells with the different flavours they master. Due to this ambition, and the incredible food they voluntarily prepare for others, they often find themselfs getting invited and joining adventurer guilds.

In hopes of proving and improving themself, Bards of this college often invite each other to their homes, hoping to impress other top class Chef's. If they succeed, the occasion often ends with the Bard that send out the invites sharing his recipe and technique with the others, often requesting the secret of one dish of each of the guests in return.

Tasty Innovations

3rd-level College of Cuisine feature

3rd level tasteful innovations You learn to imbue your spells with the five key taste profiles, letting them strengthen your allies or weaken your foes. When you cast a bard spell using a spell slot and while holding your cooks utensils, you can expend a use of your bardic inspiration to imbue the spell with a flavour. The effect of the flavour takes place before any effect of the spell that was cast. You learn two flavours of your choice from among the flavours described below, and each time you gain a level in this class, you can replace one flavour you know with a different one from this feature. Each time your Bardic Inspiration die changes, you learn one additional flavour. If a flavour requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your charisma modifier.

Sweet: You give your spell a sweet note, bringing comfort into those affected by it. One creature targeted by your spell regains hit points equal to one roll of your bardic die and you can end one of the following conditions if the creature is afflicted by it: blinded, deafened, paralyzed or poisoned.

Sour: The weapon of one creature targeted by your spell gets coated in a dangerously acidic fluid. Until the start of your next turn, the weapon deals extra acid damage, equal to one roll of your bardic die, and the first enemy hit by it needs to make a constitution save. If it fails, the creature has disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes until the end of its next turn.

Salty: You imbue your magic with fluid absorbing, pure saltiness. All Creatures targeted by the spell need to make a constitution saving throw, as the saltiness sucks the water out of their bodies. If they fail, their movement speed gets halved and they have disadvantage on strength and dexterity checks until the start of your next turn.

Bitter: You flavour your spell with pure bitterness, trying to bring out that exact emotion in your enemies. If you target one or more creatures with a spell that forces them to make a saving throw: one targeted creature has disadvantage on the save.

Umami: The savouriness of your spell brings out the strength in those affected by it. Each creature affected by your spell can add a D4 on all attack rolls they make until the end of your next turn and receive one roll of your bardic die+your charisma modifier as temporary hit points.
