Barbarians of the Arcane Fury Tradition have unlocked the ancient and hidden connection between raw emotion and magic. Through sheer force of will and relentless fury, these Barbarians channel magic through their rage, allowing them to cast spells using their incredible physical strength. This unique bond between primal and arcane gives them unparalleled power, particularly when they rage.

Scrolls of Arcane

Outside of a rage, you can read and cast spells from spell scrolls, tapping into your latent magical potential.

Arcane Understanding

At 3rd Level, you gain the ability to cast spells while raging. You use your Strength Modifier as your Spell-casting ability for these spells. You will use and follow the Wizard Spell Table for the spells you can learn, cast, and prepare. You may have only 1 Spell of each level Prepared. In addition, you can maintain concentration  on spells while raging, a feat previously impossible for Barbarians.

Spell-Enhanced Rage

Beginning at 6th level, your rage is infused with magical energy. While raging, you gain resistance to spell damage. You can harness your fury to cast a spell using your bonus action, but this spell's level cannot exceed half you Barbarian level, rounded down. The number of times you can do this is limited to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all uses of this ability after a long rest.

Arcane Resilience

By 10th level, your understanding of spellcasting has deepened. You gain proficiency in Constitution Saving Throws to maintain concentration on spells while raging. Additionally, you have advantage on saving throws against spells cast by your enemies.

Arcane Apex

At 14th level, your rage reaches its pinnacle of arcane power. Once during a rage, you can cast a spell without expending a spell slot. This spell is cast as an action and is limited to a level no higher than half of your Barbarian level, rounded down. You can use this feature twice per long rest.
