Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

A master of the enemies magic, using their firepower against them. Be it Arcane or Divine, their magic will bend to your will.

Stolen Arcana

Starting at 2nd level, when a target within 60 feet of you casts a spell, you can use your reaction to attempt to steal it. Make a spell attack roll using your Intelligence modifier against the enemy's spell save DC. If your attack roll is equal to or higher than their DC, you successfully steal the spell.

Once you've stolen a spell, you can choose to unleash it immediately using one of your own spell slots, or you can store it for later. You can store a number of stolen spells equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of one). When you unleash a stolen spell using one of your own spell slots, you can use your Intelligence modifier for the spell's attack rolls, spell save DC, and any other calculations related to the spell.

Additionally, as a bonus action, you can attempt to copy a spell that a willing creature within 60 feet of you has cast. You must have seen the ally cast the spell at least once to copy it successfully.

You can also dismiss any number of stolen spells as a bonus action. They dissipate without being used, allowing you to make room for other spells to steal.

Thievery Scribing

Starting at 6th level, you've learned to scribe stolen spells in a special spellbook. During a long rest, you can scribe one of the stolen spells you have stored in your memory into your spellbook. However, the Thievery Scribing feature only allows you to scribe Wizard spells into your spellbook.

Scribing the stolen Wizard spell requires the normal amount of time and gold, as if you were scribing it from a spell scroll or another spellbook, but you don't need an additional source like a spell scroll. Once you have scribed a stolen spell, you can prepare and cast it like any other spell in your spellbook.

Master Thief

At 10th level, your prowess as a Spellthief reaches new heights. When you steal a spell using your Stolen Arcana feature, you can choose whether or not to disrupt the target's spellcasting abilities. If you choose to disrupt, the target has disadvantage on saving throws against your spells and abilities that deal damage for the next minute.

Arcane Reversal

Starting at 14th level, your mastery over spell theft allows you to cast stolen spells back at their original caster without expending a spell slot. However, when you cast a stolen spell using Arcane Reversal, it uses its normal required level even if it was upcast by the original caster. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
