Base Class: Fighter

Many fighters sharpen their skills on the battlefield, but the Cuisinier finds their inspiration in the kitchen. Armed with a deep understanding of culinary arts, they have learned to use their cooking skills in unexpected ways to gain an advantage in combat.

Chef's Tools

A proper Cuisinier is not complete without their tools. You gain proficiency in Cook's Utensils, if you do not already have it. 

Master of Flavors

Starting at 3rd level, you've learned how to use spices and herbs to enhance your combat abilities. You gain the following features:

  • Seasoned Strike: Before making an attack, you can add a pinch of your signature seasoning to your weapon. On a hit, the target takes an additional 1d6 damage from your choice of acid, fire, cold, or lightning damage.

  • Taste Tester: You have advantage on saving throws against the poisoned condition and disease. Additionally, you can prepare a snack over a short rest that, when consumed by you or an ally, grants temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.

Cook's Arsenal

At 7th level, you've expanded your culinary repertoire, gaining access to a variety of specialized cooking techniques. You can choose two of the following options:

Searing Strike: When you hit a target with a weapon attack, you can expend one use of Spice Mastery to deal an additional 2d6 fire damage to the target.

Seasoned Chef: When surrounded by 2 or more enemies, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Fighter level + proficiency bonus until the end of your next turn.

Mystical Marinade: When you take a short rest, you can prepare a special marinade. You or an ally can consume it as a bonus action to regain hit points equal to your Fighter level + your proficiency bonus. You can prepare a number of marinades per day equal to your Fighter level + proficiency bonus.

Master Chef

At 10th level, your culinary skills have become legendary. You gain expertise with Cook's Utensils and advantage on all Intelligence (Cook's Utensils) checks. Additionally, you can prepare a variety of unique dishes. Once per long rest, you can prepare a meal that provides a special benefit to you or an ally when consumed. While preparing you can choose one of the following meals to prepare:

Resilient Meal: You gain a +2 bonus to your AC for 1 hour after consuming.

Hearty Meal: You gain temporary hit points equal to your fighter level + your proficiency bonus until the next long rest or until depleted.

 Energetic Meal: You gain +10 feet of movement until your next short rest

 

Culinary Inspiration

Your culinary creations are so inspiring that they can rally your allies even in the heat of battle. When you use your Second Wind feature, you can also inspire all friendly creatures within 30 feet of you. They gain temporary hit points equal to twice your fighter level.

Master of Cuisine

At 18th level, you have mastered the art of combat cuisine. Your gourmet techniques are unparalleled. You gain the following features:

  • Iron Stomach: You have resistance to poison and acid damage.

  • Legendary Feast: Once per long rest, you can prepare a grand feast over the course of an hour. When consumed by you and your allies during a short rest, everyone gains advantage on attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks for the next 24 hours.
