College of Faith

Community, inspiration and music have always been at the core of religious belief and none know this more than bards of the College of Faith. These bards draw upon their own divine beliefs to help those in need, inspire greatness and protect the innocent, while using their natural charisma to bring more into the folds of their faith. 

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Faith at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Religion. If you already have proficiency in this skill you instead gain expertise. Additionally you can use your wisdom modifier in place of intelligence for any skill checks that require intelligence. 

Restorative Words

Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use your passion and faith to help restore and inspire others.

As a bonus action, you can expend one use of Bardic Inspiration to restore a creature, other than yourself, within 60ft. The chosen creature regain hit points equal to the roll of your bardic inspiration die + your wisdom modifier and gains advantage on their next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.

Divine Secrets

At 6th level, you learn a number of additonal spells equal to your wisdom modifier from the cleric or paladin spell list. A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the Bard table, or a cantrip. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.

If your wisdom modifier has changed you must select the correct amount of spells to reflect your current wisdom modifier. When you are selecting new spells in this way you may change your choices to any eligible cleric or paladin spells. Additionally, you may change your seleced spells at any level you are able to select magical secrets.  

Faithful Attentiveness

Starting at 14th level, when you cast a spell that requires concentration and targets one or more allies, you can remove the concentration component of the spell. 

Only one spell can benefit from this feature at any time. If a spell can be cast at a higher level to increase the duration that upcast cannot be used with Faithful Attentiveness.

Once you use this ability you cannot use it again until you take a long rest.
