Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You channel psionic energy to change your size to gain the upper hand in combat. Born from the psionic traditions of the duergar, proportioners are trained as microscopic spies and giant infantrymen.

Minuscule Maneuvers

Starting at 3rd level when you choose this subclass, you are adept at fighting against different sized creatures. You gain the following benefits:

  • You don’t need advantage on the attack roll to use your Sneak Attack against a creature if they are a different size than you.
  • You can move through the space of any creature that is of a size larger than yours.
  • You can attempt to hide even when you are obscured only by a creature that is at least one size larger than you.

Psionic Sizing

At 3rd level, you have proportion points equal your Intelligence modifier (minimum of one). You can change your size by one category as a bonus action by expending a proportion point. This change lasts for one minute, you end it as a bonus action, or until you fall unconscious. While your size is changed, you are immune to effects of enlarge/reduce.

When your size increases, your reach increases by 5 feet, your walking speed increases by 5 feet, and you have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws. You also gain temporary hit points equal to two times your rogue level.

When your size decreases, you have advantage on Dexterity checks and Dexterity saving throws. You gain a bonus to your AC equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded up. If you decrease your size twice, your reach is 0 feet.

You regain expended proportion points at the end of a long rest.

Unstable Proportioning

At 9th level, your proportioning powers increases. You may change your size by two categories for one minute, after the minute ends, you gain one level of exhaustion.

You have proportion points equal to twice your Intelligence modifier.

Object Magnification

Beginning at 13th level, your psionic abilities now extend to things other than yourself. As an action you can expend a proportion point and cast enlarge/reduce and change the target's size by two categories, applying the effects of the spell twice. The spell DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier.

Epic Proportioning

At 17th level, you no longer gain exhaustion by changing your size by two categorize. You have proportion points equal to three times your Intelligence modifier.
