Bonus Proficiencies

At 1st level, you gain proficiency in History and either Deception or Persuasion skill checks. If you are already proficient in these skills, you can replace them with another.

Tales of Ruin

At 1st level, you gain the ability to instill fear in your enemies through stories of the undoing of man and their accomplishments. As an action, you can target creatures up to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1), to make a Wisdom (Insight) check contested by your Charisma (Deception or Persuasion) check. Any creatures that fail their check have a 1d4 penalty on their next attack, ability check, or saving throw.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Spreading Madness

Starting at 6th level, your influence towards the masses is now contagious, like a plague of fear and confusion. If a creature that is frightened by you drops to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to choose new targets up to your proficiency bonus to make a Wisdom saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC or become frightened of you. The new targets must be within 30 feet of the original creature.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Irrefutable Despair

Starting at 10th level, your speeches of doomsday can now reach within the minds of those who had unshakable will. Spells you cast ignore immunity to the frightened condition as long as the target has an Intelligence of 5 or more.

Dreadful Reality

At 14th level, your manipulation of fear has reached near perfection. Any creature that ends its turn with 5 hit points or lower and is frightened by you must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC, or bring themselves down to 0 hit points. The weight of calamity is too much to bear, even for the greatest of man.

Also at 14th level, any creature that is frightened by you takes extra damage from all attacks equal to your proficiency bonus.
