Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Bloodlust is a dangerous thing. It drives a warrior to fling themselves into the fray with no thought to their wellbeing or that of their allies. However, some choose to give themselves to the bloodlust, reveling in the destructive power of a battle frenzy that grows more potent with each kill.

Bloodlust Origin:

Through some means, you have the ability to enter into a frenzied state in the throes of combat. Maybe you were cursed with some offshoot of vampirism, or a partial lycanthropic transformation. Whatever the case may be, this causes you to tap into an unstoppable bloodlust as you fight.

Bloodlust

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, whenever you rage you activate your Bloodlust. This causes you to gain bonus effects as you kill your enemies while raging. Whenever you drop a target to 0hp, you regain hit points equal to one roll of your hit die.

Also at 3rd level, while you are Raging you gain 1 point of Adrenaline whenever you reduce a target to 0hp. You may spend these points at any time to cause bonus effects to occur. All unspent Adrenaline points are lost once your Rage ends.

1 point- regain the use of your reaction.

2 points- gain advantage on your attacks this round.

3 points- gain temporary HP equal to your Constitution bonus plus your proficiency bonus. You also double your movement speed and do not provoke opportunity attacks until the end of your next turn.

4 points- take a second Action this turn.

6 points- if you would drop to 0hp, immediately heal for 1 roll of your hit die.

Blood Sacrifice

At 6th level, you may enhance your attacks by sacrificing your own health. When you land a melee attack on a creature, you may choose to sacrifice 1d4 points of health to deal 1d8 additional damage on your attack. The number of die you may use per attack is equal to your proficiency bonus. (For example, with a proficiency bonus of +2, you may take up to 2d4 damage to deal 2d8 bonus damage.)

Sanguine Infusion

At 10th level, if you have no remaining uses of your Rage, you may sacrifice 1d8 health to regain a use of Rage. In addition, you may recharge a target’s spell slots at the conversion ratio of 1d12 per spell level. (For example, you could spend 1d12 HP to restore a target’s 1st level spell slot. Or 3d12 to restore a 3rd level slot.) You may restore a target’s spell slots twice per long rest.

Adrenaline Surge

At 14th level, your Bloodlust is so strong you gain Adrenaline points without killing. Upon Raging, you immediately gain 2 Adrenaline points. In addition, for every 10 hit points you lose per instance of damage, you gain 1 Adrenaline point. (For example, if one attack deals 23 points of damage to you, you gain 2 points.) Adrenaline points are no longer lost once your Rage ends.
