Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Through your arcane tradition, you have learned many rituals of healing, necromancy, and all ways to overcome death. You heal when needed, revive what you can, and lay to rest what you cannot. When you choose this tradition, you gain proficiency in light armor and all simple weapons, as well as Medicine checks, herbalist kits, and alchemy tools.

Many witch doctors dress in dark colors and wear a mask which doubles as their spell casting focus.

Feared Healer

Your presence sucks the life out of a room and redistributes it to those who need it.

Once per day as an action you can attempt to frighten a hostile creature you can see, which makes a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. If the creature fails this saving throw it is frightened for 1 minute and all allies you can see gain THP equal to your intelligence modifier. It can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its subsequent turns.

In addition you learn the cantrip spare the dying. When you cast this cantrip, the target regains consciousness with 1HP.

Medic of Illfate

You have become an embodiment of life and death. When you cast a spell that gives or takes hit points from a creature, you begin to steam with a dark arcane aura. You learn the following spells and always have them prepared, not counting against the number you can prepare from your wizard list.

Cure wounds

Aid

Revivify

At level 10 you also add the spells Aura of Life and Mass Cure Wounds to this feature

At level 14 you add the spell Heal to this feature

Anytime you cast these spells all enemies you can see must make an Intelligence saving throw against your Spell save DC, taking your proficiency bonus in necrotic damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful one.

Acquired Immunity

Your experimentation with various ailments has built up a tolerance for such things. You are immune to poison and disease, and resistant to poison and necrotic damages.

The Undeath

When you fail to save the living, you can at the very least bring them back. You learn the spells Animate Dead and Create Undead if you do not know them already, when you cast these spells, the resultant creatures rise with temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus and Intelligence modifier added together. You can cast either of these spells over a single turn in combat if you do not move and expend both your action and bonus action to do so.
