Base Class: Paladin
Among the worshippers of Shachar, reverence of his three Archangels is common as well. Extremely dedicated paladins may take an oath after one of these three angels to serve Shachar by his own standing orders. Ka'evel is the angel of death and divine punishment, and as such, his paladins unquestionably slay his enemies, in the belief that a quick death is the ultimate mercy for any that he would consider impure.
Paladins of this oath often wield the flamberge to resemble Ka'evel, inciting fear in their enemies. With divine power they summon the chains that bound him in the torture chambers of Sept-Metu, in the underworld, and that he used to carve his way back to the world of the living, where he was sainted and granted immortality.
These paladins are often utilized as platoon leaders by the churches of Caranoa due to their ability to rally soldiers, and their inability to see their enemies as people.
TENETS OF KA'EVEL
Paladins of the Oath of Ka'evel swear to uphold Shachar's values with an iron fist.
Lay to Rest the Undead. The sun sets on all mortals, any false life must be ended.
Do What Must Be Done. I am not the judge nor jury, but the executioner. I am only an instrument of god, and will not question his judgement.
Purity. Purity of mind, body, and spirit, that is what it means to be a devotee of Shachar. Never dishonor yourself, and never tarnish the name of your lord.
Punish the Sinful. The misguided and petty sinners can be redeemed, but some are wicked to their heart. For the truly evil, the only mercy that can be spared is death.

Channel Divinity
Upon reaching 3rd level, you gain access to spectral chains that you may wield through your two channel divinity options.
Bind. As an action, you may wrap a creature up to 10 feet away in spectral chains. The target must succeed a strength saving throw or be restrained. If the creature is restrained, it may repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, escaping on a success. The creature also takes damage equal to your charisma modifier at the end of each of its turns, regardless of whether it escapes the chains on that turn or not.
Cripple. As an action, you extend spectral chains from your wrist to latch onto a creature up to 30 feet away. The target must succeed a dexterity saving throw or remain chained. While chained, the creature's movement speed is halved, and it cannot move in any direction except towards you. If the creature is chained, it may repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, escaping on a success. The creature also takes damage equal to your charisma modifier at the end of each of its turns, regardless of whether it escapes the chains on that turn or not. A chained creature cannot be forcibly moved by you moving away from it.
Damage inflicted by the chains may be any type, chosen by you at any instance it is inflicted. At 15th level, this damage becomes twice your charisma modifier.
Aura of Wrath
Starting at 7th level, your wrath is channeled through the enemy you strike. When you make a melee attack against a creature, you may create a 10 foot aura around them. Whenever the aura host is hit with a melee attack, any enemies within the radius take radiant damage equal to your charisma modifier. Only one aura may be active at a time, and you cannot create an aura more than once per turn. This aura lasts until the end of combat or until it is moved to another enemy.
At 18th level, you may have two auras active at a time.
Judge, Jury, and Executioner
At 15th level, whenever an enemy targets you or an ally within 20 feet with a damaging spell or the attack action, you gain a stack of vengeance. For each stack accumulated, your next divine smite attack will do an extra 1d4 radiant damage, up to a maximum of 10 stacks. These stacks are lost upon consuming them or upon taking a long rest.
End of Days
Upon reaching level 20, you become an instrument of your god's wrath. As a bonus action, you may summon a storm of sulfur and hail. For one minute, the ground within 30 feet of you is considered difficult terrain, even to flying creatures. If a creature exits or ends its turn in the radius, it is subjected to a constitution saving throw. Upon a failure, it takes 3d10 fire, ice, or radiant damage, and half as much on a success.
You may choose any number of creatures to be unaffected by the storm.
This ability may only be used once per long rest.
