Base Class: Rogue
Rippers' techniques are passed down from abusive masters to cruel disciples in memory of a nameless, faceless founder. They delight in the anguish and fear of others, spurred by obscure ideals that are likely as fanatical as they are manical.
Mask of Terror
At 3rd level, you have acquired tools to plant terror in your wake while retaining anonymity. You have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) and Charisma (Deception) checks.
Terror Strike
At 3rd level, your strikes carry an unsettling violence, the screams and pain of your victim echoing in the mind of others. When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon or reduce a creature to 0 hit points with one and apply your Sneak Attack damage, you can force the target (if conscious) and every creature of your choice within 10 feet of the target and able to see or hear the target to succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. The DC is equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier.
The radius increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 15 feet at 9th level, 20 feet at 13th level, and 30 feet at 17th level.
Bloodthirst
At 9th level, your bloodlust intensifies. You have advantage on attack rolls against frightened creatures (regardless the source of the fear). Additionally, the creatures that fail the saving against your Terror Strike take psychic damage equal to your rogue level.
Dread Hunter
At 13th level, the fear you bring with you proliferates wildly. Applying your Sneak Attack damage to a frightened creature can trigger a Terror Strike. Also, if a creature fails a saving throw against your Terror Strike by 5 or more, the effect lasts for a minute instead of ending at the end of your next turn. At the end of each of its turns, the creature can make another Wisdom saving throw, ending the effect on a success.
Maniac
At 17th level, you can strike with horrifying fury. If you take the Attack action on your turn and perform a Terror Strike, you can make two additional attacks as a bonus action. Those attacks must target creatures frightened by your Terror Strike, and one of them can benefit from your Sneak Attack.
