Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

For some barbarians, rage is a means to an end—that end being violence. The Path of the Berserker is a path of untrammeled fury, slick with blood. As you enter the berserker’s rage, you thrill in the chaos of battle, heedless of your own health or well-being.

Frenzy

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can go into a frenzy when you rage. If you do so, for the duration of your rage, your melee weapon attacks deal additional damage equal to a number of d6’s equal to your rage bonus, and you can make a single melee weapon attack as a bonus action on each of your turns.

During a frenzy, if you target a creature on your turn with a melee weapon attack while more than one creature is within your weapon’s reach, roll a d4. On a 1, your attack instead targets a different creature of your choice within your weapon’s reach. If you roll a 1, you need not make this roll again until the start of your next turn.

When your frenzy ends, you suffer one level of exhaustion.

Mindless Rage

Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect ends automatically.

Intimidating Presence

When you gain this feature at 10th level, you can let loose a terrifying war cry as part of your frenzy rage bonus action.

When you use your bonus action to rage and choose to frenzy, choose any number of creatures within 30ft of you that can see or hear you. Each creature must succeed on a Wisdom save (DC 8 + your Proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of their turn, ending the effect on a success.

Retaliation

Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature.
