Monks who embrace the Way of the Storm's Fury embody the tempest's unbridled power, drawing inspiration from the raging skies and the crackling force of lightning. They become conduits of elemental chaos, weaving the raw energy of storms into their martial prowess. Monks following the Way of the Storm's Fury walk a precarious path, taming the chaotic forces of nature within themselves. Their journey intertwines the discipline of the monk with the raw, untamed power of the storm, allowing them to channel the fury of the skies with grace and deadly precision.

Stormbearer

Starting at 3rd level, you gain an affinity for the elements, specifically lightning. Your movement speed increases by 10 feet while you are not wearing armor or wielding a shield. Additionally, you gain resistance to lightning damage.  As an action, spend 1 ki point to imbue your fists or weapon with lightning for 3 turns, adding an additional 1d8 shock damage to attacks with the imbued weapon/fist

Master Of The Storm

Upon reaching 6th level, you gain the ability to harness the ambient energy around you. As an action, you can spend 2 ki points to cast any learnt lightning spell without requiring a spell slot. You can only use this feature once per long rest.

Thunder God Storm Flurry

Starting at 11th level, Your flurry of blows now deals lightning damage equal to your flurry of blows damage

Thunder God Fist

You are able to use Thunder God Fist techniques that cost Ki Points at 11th level. They are:

Thunder God Wind Fist
Unleash a brutal lightning uppercut attack on a creature within 5ft, dealing 2d6 lightning and bludgeoning damage. Costs 1 Ki Point

Thunder God Crushing Blow
Unleash a devastating overhand strike on a creature within 4ft, dealing 2d8 lightning and bludgeoning damage and inflicting stun. Costs 2 Ki Points

King Of The Storm

Upon reaching 17th level,  Spend 3 Ki Points to cast one of 2 lightning spells without needing a spell slot:

Voltage Quake
Cast a row of lightning bolts in a 50ft range, damaging anyone in it's wake. If a creature is within the line of fire, they cannot escape. Deals 2d10 lightning damage.

Thunderous Rapture
Charge the spell for one turn. Casts divine lightning bolts on upto three creatures within a 30ft radius. Cannot be avoided. Deals 2d8 lightning damage and deals double damage to necrotic creatures

Demi-God Of Thunder

Upon reaching 17th level, you attain the pinnacle of your connection to the storm. As an action, you can spend 5 ki points to transform into a Demi-God Of Thunder for 1 minute. While in this form, you gain the following benefits:

  • Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 3d6 lightning damage.
  • You have a flying speed equal to double your walking speed.
  • You can cast any lightning-based spell without expending a spell slot if you succeed a roll above 15 for hit.
  • You can change the weather at will
