Bard
Base Class: Bard

In the heart of the wild, one may hear the beat of a drum drown out all civilization, logic and ethics, leaving only fear and primal savagery. The sounds of the beat of their heart, the roar of blood in their ears, telling them to keep fighting and to survive, giving them vicious attacks and undying fury. Many who experienced this become bards who strive to emulate this find themselves in the College of Drowning Sound, breathing fury, pain and most of all the will to survive into their music bringing others into their frenzy.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Drowning Sound at 3rd level you gain proficiency with survival, nature, or medicine skills. You also gain proficiency with martial weapons and medium armor.

Undying Fury

The sound of your music brings out the will to survive in others and the drumming of their hearts in your opponent's ears distracts them, making them weak. At 3rd level, bardic inspiration dice can be rolled to gain temporary hit points, or it can be used as a reaction to give disadvantage to an attack or damage roll.

Roar of Blood

Your music drowns out all other sounds but the primal instincts to hunt, kill, and survive. At 6th level, you can give yourself bardic inspiration. In addition, when someone uses a bardic inspiration die, they can roll the dice to add to their next damage roll within 10 minutes. If the damage kills an opponent, your next attack has advantage.

Drowning Bloodlust

The neverending cords of your song awaken a supernatural wrath, filling others with a bloodlust so great that once it ends their mind can’t comprehend what they felt.At 14th level, when a bardic inspiration die is used to deal damage, gain temporary hit points, or give disadvantage, one ally of your choice gets rage for three turns. When the ally gets rage all creatures of your choice within 30 feet take one bardic inspiration die of thunder damage. While raging, the ally gains the following benefits:

  • They have advantage on strength checks and saving throws.
  • When they make a melee weapon attack using strength they gain a bonus to that damage roll equal to your charisma modifier.
  • They have resistance to either bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage.

If they are able to cast spells, they can’t cast them while raging. The rage ends early if they are knocked unconscious or if their turn ends and they haven’t attacked a hostile creature since their last turn. They can also end the rage early on their turn with a bonus action. When the rage ends they take psychic damage equal to two rolls of your bardic inspiration dice.
