Druid
Base Class: Druid

Whisperers claim to be enlightened by divine agency, aided by angels to heal the sick, break curses, locate objects, and similarly divine magics. This healing is performed via whispered prayer, passed down only via initiation ritual from one whisperer to another.

Some refer to these druids as witches or shamans, calling their powers little more than folklore and placebo, and clerics in particular tend to frown upon these practices – but nevertheless, their myth persists.

Circle Spells

When you join this circle at 2nd level, you have formed a bond with a divine spirit, for whom you act as a mediator to the faithful. Your link with this spirit grants you access to some spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Circle of Divine Whispers Spells table.

Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the Druid Spell List, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

(For legal reasons, Aura of Life and Aura of Purity could not be added to this subclass. Add them directly or substitute in appropriate spells for their level.)

Whispered Prayer

Over the course of 10 minutes, you can whisper a ritual prayer in Druidic over a willing creature. This ritual can be performed as part of a short or long rest. Until your next short or long rest, you grant it one of the following benefits.

Chill. You whisper a prayer to steel the spine and unfurl the muscles. The chosen creature gains advantage on the first attack roll it makes during the duration of this effect.

Rose. You whisper a prayer to soothe the blood and quiet the soul. The chosen creature gains advantage on the first saving throw it makes during the duration of this effect.

Fright. You whisper a prayer to steady the hands and allay the mind. The chosen creature gains advantage on the first skill check it makes during the duration of this effect.

Charm. You whisper a prayer to grant a spark of magic to the recipient. Choose one of your prepared spells with a level no greater than half your proficiency bonus (rounded down). Once per long rest, the chosen creature can cast the chosen spell. Once a creature uses this benefit, it cannot receive it again until it finishes a long rest.

Nerve-plait. You whisper a prayer to ward off evil forces. As an action, the chosen creature can force any fiends and undead within 30 feet of themselves to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute (following the same rules as the Turn Undead cleric Channel Divinity,) or until it takes any damage. Once a creature uses this benefit, it cannot receive it again until it finishes a long rest.

Robust Ritual

Over the course of 10 minutes, you conduct a ritual, expending a use of your Wild Shape to bless a number of creatures up to your proficiency bonus. Until your next long rest, you grant the affected creatures an increase in maximum Hit Points equal to your Druid level.

Holy Vespers

Your faith assumes greater power to your blessings. When you finish a long rest, choose a creature within 30 feet of yourself. The chosen creature gains resistance to a damage type of your choice, other than bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing, until your next long rest.

Only Say the Word

At 14th level, you gain the power to speak into existence, even if none can hear your words. As an action, you can cast a spell with a casting time of 1 action that targets a willing creature. When cast in this way, its range is infinite, you ignroe somatic and material components, and you don’t need line of sight.

Once you do so, you cannot use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
