Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Growth attempt to align themselves with the universe using their body as an art form. There is strength in beauty and beauty in strength. These bards are known to coat themselves in oil to tone their skin while toning their muscles. Bards of this college seek to inspire those who cannot defend themselves to find the strength to do so.

Devoting their efforts to this craft results in self centered idealizations, which of course is not uncommon among bards. However, some of these bards may find issues with controlling this swagger, to their own detriment in public settings. This is not helped by the fact that many of these bards tend to wear less clothing than normal, despite certain societal norms grinding up against this lifestyle.

Despite these instances, bards of this college are known to bring support and joy to their compatriots and peers. Their knowledge of self care and health uplifts those who need it most, and strengthens all.

Charismatic Strength

You gain proficiency with shields, and one martial weapon of your choice.

Additionally, if you are holding a shield, a weapon you are proficient with, or a container of oil you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells. If you cast a transmutation spell that targets one creature using a spell slot while holding one of these items, you can choose to give the target temporary hit points equal to your bard level. These hit points last until you use this feature again, or the creature completes a long rest.

Inspirational Poses

Also at 3rd level, you gain the new options to further use your Bardic Inspiration.

One With the Universe: As a bonus action, choose a creature within 60 feet that can see you (this can be you), and expend one Bardic Inspiration die. For a number of rounds equal to a roll of your Bardic Inspiration die, the target has advantage on Strength checks, and adds your Bardic Inspiration die to all Strength checks.

One More Time: As a reaction to taking bludgeoning, slashing, or piercing damage, you can choose to expend one Bardic Inspiration die. Until the end of your next turn, you reduce the damage you take from the triggering damage type equal to a roll of your Bardic Inspiration die every time you take damage.

One To Remember: When you hit with a melee weapon attack against a creature within your reach, you can expend one Bardic Inspiration die to attempt to grapple the creature, adding the die to the grapple check.

Extra Attack

Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Inspiring Crescendo

Starting at 14th level, whenever you use an Inspiring Pose option, you can choose to increase your size by one category for one minute. If you lack the room to grow, you grow as much as possible but your size doesn't change. While your size is increased in this way, your attacks deal an additional 1d4 extra damage.
