Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You're a criminal in ways all dashing and dastardly. Thieves, burglars, cutpurses, bandits, the list goes on. Where a world of treasures and security exists you perform to break that security - find loopholes, crawl in the tight spaces, shatter even the walls of magical will for your gain. Combine that with an affinity for stealth, speed and agility, and it's hard for your enemies to ever really know you were there in the first place.

Fast Hands

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to perform one of the following acts of agility:

  • Pickpocketing: You can make a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check.
  • Lockpicking: You can make a Dexterity (Thieves’ Tools) check.
  • Interfacing: You can make a Use an Object action.

Second-Story Work

At 3rd level, you gain the following abilities:

  • Climber: You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed. You can use this climbing speed to move across ceilings or hold onto ceilings if there is a handhold of some kind to use during your movement.
  • Jumper: You can use your dexterity in place of strength for determining jump distance. Additionally, you have resistance to fall damage

No Eyes On Me

At 9th level, whenever you deal Sneak Attack damage on a creature, your speed increases by 10 feet until the end of your turn. Additionally, when initiative is rolled, you can use your reaction to Slip Away: gaining the following benefits:

  • You can move up to your speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
  • If you end your movement behind three quarters of total cover, you can take the hide action as part of the same reaction.

This action cannot be performed if you are surprised.

Arcane Bypass

At 13th level, you gain the following abilities:

  • Activate: When activating a magic item that requires a 'command word', you can activate it silently without needing to speak. This still requires your action. Additionally, when a creature attempts to find you by detecting magic items, you can make an opposed Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check against their Wisdom (Perception). On a success, you remain hidden. On a failure, they find you as normal.
  • Appraise: During a long rest, you can appraise a magic item. At the end of the long rest, you know the item’s properties as if you had casted the Identify and Legend Lore spells, as well as any curses that would be hidden. As part of this action, you can choose to attune to the item if you wish, ignoring all alignment, class, race, and level requirements for that item.

Master Reflexes

At 17th level, when you use one of the bonus actions provided to you by your Fast Hands feature or drink a potion, you may also use any other action provided to you by your Cunning Action at 2nd level as part of the same bonus action.
