Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

While most fighters focus on battling human foes, some aim for the top taking on only the mightiest of creatures, those being dragons. Dragon Slayers fearlessly face down their foes, deftly dodge dangerous breath weapons, and cut deep into the toughest of hides.

Dragon Speech

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn to speak, read, and write in Draconic

Crippling Strike

Beginning at 3rd level, when you successfully hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the creature's climb, swim, fly, and burrow speeds to 0 for 1 minute. If the affected creature is a dragon this effect instead lasts for 1 hour. This ability can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Breath Weapon Specialist

Beginning at 7th level, you gain proficiency in Dexterity saving throws, as well as advantage on all saving throws against breath weapon effects. Additionally, if you are subjected to a breath weapon effect that allows you to make a saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

Unshakable Resolve

Starting at 10th level, you gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws as well as advantage on all saving throws against being frightened. Additionally, whenever you succeed on a saving throw against being frightened, the creature that caused the effect that required the saving throw must make a Wisdom saving throw DC equal to (8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or become frightened of you for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the frightened condition on itself on a success. A creature that is immune to the frightened condition is instead stunned until the end of its next turn.

Beyond the Natural

Starting at 15th level, you gain resistance to Piercing, Slashing, and Bludgeoning damage from Nonmagical attacks. Additionally, whenever a creature successfully hits you with an attack as part of the multiattack action, all subsequent attacks made as part of that multiattack action suffer a -3 penalty to hit. This penalty can stack with itself.

Inured to the Elements

Starting at 18th level, you gain resistance to Acid, Cold, Lightning, Fire, and Poison damage.
