Base Class: Monk
Using you unique Red Moon birthmarks and the harsh, cold, teachings of your Monastery, you can perform a variety of unique abilties.
Blinded Strikes
Whenever you hit a target with an unarmed strike, you can spent one ki point and a bonus action to blind yourself. You gain advantage on the entire attack, and +1d8 extra damage. If the attack hits, you can spent another two ki points to hit one more unarmed strike, knocking the foe prone.
Determined Clash
As a reaction, costing 1 ki, you can clash with an opponent’s melee attack with your bare hands. You must make a contested Strength roll. Upon a success, you take half the damage, and then steal their ki to either restore 2 ki points or 3d6 health. Upon a failure, you take the damage, and the move is not considered used. This can only be used once per long rest.
Altered Tactics
You can do either of the following once per long rest
◦ As an action, you can enter a state of meditation by tapping into the rhythm of violence around you. You become unable to move or take actions, reactions, or bonus actions. Every turn which you are meditating you regain 2 ki points. Being attacked while meditating will end the meditation, but you will take roll a CON save and take damage due to your sheer focus. This meditation can be ended at any time for free, and the next attack after ending it will have double advantage. Can be used once per long rest.
◦ You may also use Power Punch. After a turn, you may spend 5 ki points to wind up a Power Punch. This punch strikes an enemy square in the chest, and deals the damage of all previous actions this turn again. (ie. did 30 dmg this turn, Power Punch does 30). After using this, you may not spend ki points for one turn. May be used once per long rest.
The Red Moon
The tattoos on your body swirl and slide off your form, forming a large blood moon above you. This blood moon gives you the effects of Blood Rage. This moon lasts the entirety of combat, and can be dispelled at any time. This can only be used once per day, and resets at Dawn.
