Druid
Base Class: Druid

The Circle of the Unseen specializes in blending in with the environment and executing guerilla tactics against enemies. Once hidden, the Unseen Druid can remain a menace for a prolonged period.

Circle Spells

2nd-level Circle of the Unseen feature

At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of the Unseen Spells table. Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.

Ambusher

2nd-level Circle of the Unseen feature

You have trained your martial ability and versatility to compliment your abilities suited to skirmishing. You gain proficiency with the shortbow and the Shillelagh cantrip. Shillelagh works on all weapons with which you are proficient.

Stalker Form

2nd-level Circle of the Unseen feature

You gain the ability to blend into your surroundings. As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to partially fade from view, rather than transforming into a beast form. While this feature is active, you gain the following benefits:

  • You gain 60 ft of darkvision if you have none or 30 ft of additional darkvision.
  • You are lightly obscured from the view of hostile creatures, allowing you to hide without cover in any environment unless prohibited by your DM's use of a special environmental factor.
  • While you are 15 ft or more away from the nearest hostile creature who can see you, you may hide as a bonus action, including the bonus action used to Wild Shape into Stalker Form.
  • While hidden, you may move anywhere without being detected or provoking opportunity attacks by spending 10 ft of movement for every 5 ft you move.

Attacking or casting a spell with verbal or somatic components brings you out of hiding, but you maintain the Stalker Form. You can be detected by an enemy with Blindsight, Tremorsense, or Truesight. At 10th level, you are quiet enough to evade Blindsight. At 14th level, you are nimble enough to evade Tremorsense.

Terrain Shaper

6th-level Circle of the Unseen feature

Mastering the battlefield is key to remaining undetected. You gain a bonus to Initiative rolls equal to your Wisdom modifier, and you cannot be surprised. While in your Stalker Form, you suffer no movement penalties from difficult terrain created by yourself, and you are immune to persistent effects on your difficult terrain such as the damage from Spike Growth. However, you are still susceptible to damage or conditions caused by one-time effects from the initial casting of a spell which creates difficult terrain if you cast it on your own position. In addition, as an action, you may reposition a patch of difficult terrain from a spell without expending a spell slot to recast the spell. This does not re-trigger the initial effects of the cast, but any persistent effects move with the difficult terrain.

Feral Stalker

10th-level Circle of the Unseen feature

Your training has permeated your subconscious, allowing it to become instinct. When you Wild Shape into a beast, you gain all of the benefits of the Stalker Form. In addition, the Max CR for your Wild Shape increases to 2.

Apex Hunter

14th-level Circle of the Unseen feature

You have learned to bring your full wrath upon your prey without making a sound. You gain the ability to cast some spells mentally without performing the verbal or somatic components. This allows you to cast without revealing your location or being seen while hidden. This also allows you mentally cast spells while Wild Shaped into a beast form, but if the spell requires material components, then you must have had the components or your spellcasting focus on your person when you Wild Shaped.

The spell's level must be less than or equal to your Proficiency Bonus. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier, and you regain all expended uses when taking a long rest.
