Aspects of the Hydra
At 3rd level, you embrace the essence of the hydra, gaining aspects of its resilience. When you finish a short or long rest, you can choose one of the following aspects to enhance your abilities until your next rest:
-
Aspect of Vigor: At the start of combat, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Ranger level.
-
Aspect of Tenacity: You gain advantage on Constitution saving throws and strength saving throws.
-
Aspect of Adaptation: You gain resistance to poison damage and acid damage.
Choose one of these aspects each time you finish a short or long rest. The chosen aspect lasts until you finish your next rest.
Hydra's Vigilance
At 7th level, the watchful nature of the hydra becomes part of your instincts. You gain expertise in Wisdom (Perception) checks, and you cannot be surprised as long as you are conscious.
Enhanced Regeneration
At 11th level, your connection with the hydra deepens, enhancing your regenerative abilities. At the start of each of your turns, you regain hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier plus your proficiency bonus if you have at least 1 hit point and aren't incapacitated.
Potent Hydra's Fury
Starting at 15th level, your Hydra's Fury becomes more potent. Once per turn, when you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll two additional damage dice for the attack instead of one. Additionally, if you reduce a creature to 0 hit points on your turn, you can make an additional weapon attack as a part of the same action.
