Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who call themselves Storm Heralds harbour the most primal form of rage within them. Older than all living things, Storms have been raging across the world for millennia. When this most ancient fury overcomes a Storm Herald, they engulf themselves and become one with the Storm. Depending on either need or instinct, the Storm takes a different form. The biting cold of a Blizzard hinders enemies that dare come close to the source, the coarse sand of a Dust Devil directly harms and weakens the defence of foes in the vicinity and the roaring winds of a Tayfun carries allies into battle to punish those too weak and afraid to engage in melee combat.
Storm Aura
Starting at 3rd level, you emanate a stormy, magical aura while you rage. The aura extends 15 feet from you in every direction, but not through total cover.
Whenever you enter your rage, choose Blizzard, Dust Devil or Tayfun.
Blizzard
Other creatures that start their turn inside the aura or enter it for their first time in their turn, have their movement speed reduced by 10ft. If this reduces it to 0ft. they are also Restrained. The reduction increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 15ft. at 5 level, 20ft. at 10 level, 25ft. at 15 level and 30ft. at 20 level.
Dust Devil
Creatures that start their turn inside the aura or enter it for their first time in their turn, suffer 1d6 of fire damage. Whenever you roll a 6 on a damage die, roll it again and add the number rolled to the damage. The damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 2d6 at 5 level, 3d6 at 10 level, 4d6 at 15 level and 5d6 at 20 level.
Typhoon
Creatures that start their turn inside the aura or enter it for their first time in their turn, have their movement speed and jumping distance increased by 5ft. The movement speed and jumping distance increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 10ft. at 5 level, 15ft. at 10 level, 20ft. at 15 level and 25ft. at 20 level.
Storm Soul
At 6th level, you explore the capabilities of your inner storm and learn how to manipulate the defence of allies, enemies and yourself.
Blizzard
When a creature within your aura attacks an ally that is also in your aura, you can choose to redirect the attack to yourself. When the attack hits, you and the attacker both suffer 2d6 cold damage. You can use this feature only once per attacking creature.
Dust Devil
Once on each of your turns, you can choose to grind down the guard of one creature within your aura. You can choose for them to subtract either 2 AC until the beginning of your next turn or 1d6 from their next Saving Throw.
Typhoon
Creatures within your aura that you hit with an opportunity attack, are knocked prone. In addition, constitution saving throws made to maintain concentration on a spell have disadvantage while standing within the aura.
Shielding Storm
At 10th level, you learn to shield your allies from the detrimental features of your storm and exclude foes of your beneficial features. You can now choose which creatures are affected by your aura.
Raging Storm
At 14th level, you find the core of your Raging Storm that drives you.
Once per long rest, as an action, you can release this primal storm even if only for but a moment. When using this feature, your aura extends to 30ft. and gains an immediate effect based on the current storm type. This transformation lasts until the end of your next turn.
Blizzard
When you let the Blizzard loose, all creatures of your choice within the aura are Restrained. Creatures whose movement speed is 0ft. are Paralyzed.
Dust Devil
When you let the Dust Devil loose, the weaknesses of all creatures of your choice within the aura get exposed. Their damage immunities become resistances, resistances are lost and they gain vulnerability against one damage type of your choice.
Typhoon
When you let the Tayfun loose, all creatures of your choice within the aura get a second action and bonus action on their next turn.
