Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Channel the Weave through a firearm.

Arcane Firearm

Starting at 2nd level, you gain proficiency with firearms. Additionally, you learn a ritual that creates a magical bond between yourself and one firearm. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest. The firearm must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch the weapon and forge the bond. Once you have bonded a firearm to yourself, you can use it as an arcane focus for casting wizard spells. You can have up to two bonded weapons. If you attempt to bond with a third weapon, you must break the bond with one of the other two.

Gunslinger's Intuition

Starting at 2nd level, your keen ability to assess tactical situations allows you to act quickly in battle. You can give yourself a bonus to your initiative rolls equal to your Intelligence modifier.

Gunslinger's Focus

Starting at 6th level, when you cast a spell that requires a ranged spell attack using a firearm as an arcane focus, you can give yourself a bonus to the spell attack roll equal to your dexterity modifier. Additionally, if you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for the spell,  you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Quick Draw

Starting at 10th level, when you roll initiative and are not surprised, you may use your reaction to cast a spell that requires a spell attack roll using a firearm as an arcane focus for the casting of the spell. If you use this feature, you cannot cast spells other than cantrips during your first turn of combat. Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again. Starting at 17th level, you can use it twice before a rest.

Targeted Fire

Starting at 14th level, when you cast a spell that would force a creature to make a Dexterity saving throw using a firearm as an arcane focus, you can use your Gunslinger's Focus feature to choose a single target of the spell and instead make a spell attack against the target. Your spell attack roll has a bonus equal to your Dexterity modifier. On a hit, the target suffers the effects as if they failed the saving throw. If the spell attack misses, the target takes the effects of the spell as if they had succeeded in their saving throw.
