Bard
Base Class: Bard

You’ve studied & mastered the art of using words to tear others down, the perfect weapon for someone like yourself- perhaps you have bottled up anger, perhaps you’re easily irritated, or perhaps you just like making others feel bad.

Outburst

As a bonus action on your turn you may enter a state of pure anger. Instead of choosing physical violence, however, words are your weapon.

For 1 minute the following effects are applied to you:

  • When you deal psychic damage to an opponent with a spell or a cantrip, the target takes extra damage equal to your CHA modifier.
  • You have advantage on Charisma checks and Charisma saving throws.
  • You have advantage on Intelligence & Wisdom saving throws for effects that only target you.

Your outburst ends early if you are incapacitated or if you haven’t been the target of an attack or a spell since your last turn.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended uses after finishing a long rest.

Vocal Channeling

You’ve learned to use your magic to fuel your verbal assaults.

When you cast a spell or a cantrip that would damage an opponent, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to change the damage type of that spell to Psychic damage, then roll the Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to the total damage.

Targeted Beration

You’ve learned how to analyse opponents and spot their weaknesses.

As a bonus action while you’re under the effects of your Outburst, you can target one opponent and exploit all of their weaknesses. That target must make a Charisma saving throw, with the DC equal to your spell save DC. If it fails the saving throw, if is vulnerable to Psychic damage for 1 minute.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and regain all expended uses at the end of a long rest.

Anger-Fuelled Casting

Your anger empowers your spells and makes them harder to resist.

When a creature makes a saving throw against a spell you cast, you can use your reaction to force the creature to reroll that saving throw. Subtract your Charisma modifier from the new roll.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses at the end of a long rest.

Furious Encouragement

The failures of your comrades annoy you so much that you encourage them to succeed.

When a friendly creature within 30ft of you fails an attack roll, a skill check or a saving throw, you can use your reaction to force them to reroll that attack roll, skill check or saving throw. Add your Charisma bonus to the rolled number.
