Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Clerics of the Pestilence domain find purpose in spreading sickness and disease. Whether they are the couriers of an existing plague or the progenitors of a new illness.
Clerics that adhere to the Pestilence domain are known to have large boils on their skin or bear some other features akin to disease.

Protective Calluses

Starting at the 1st level, the scabs and calluses on your body afford you extra protection from attacks.
You gain +1 to your AC if you are wearing armor that is not heavy. If you are not wearing any armor, your AC equals 13 + Dexterity modifier.

Infectious Infestation

Also starting at 1st level, you learn the Infestation cantrip. Roll the d4 twice and move the target 5 ft. in each direction.

If the forced movement from the Infestation cantrip would cause the target to collide with another creature, that creature must also make a save or be subjected to the effects of the spell.

This effect can only happen once per target but can chain between multiple targets.

Channel Divinity: Foul Disgorge

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to cover an area in bile.

As an action, you can spew diseased bile from your body onto a point within 30 ft. of you that then covers the ground in a 10 ft. radius and makes it difficult terrain. Any creature that starts its turn in the area takes acid damage equal to your proficiency bonus and must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or be poisoned for 1 minute.
If the creature makes its save, it is immune from the poison effect of the bile for the next 24 hours.

After 1 minute, the bile absorbs into the ground or dissipates and is no longer a hazard.

Volatile Boils

Beginning at 6th level, your body becomes covered in swollen boils and blisters. When you take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, you can use your reaction to make yourself vulnerable to the triggering damage and deal necrotic damage to each creature within 5 ft. of you. The damage equals half your cleric level, rounded down.

If this feature would reduce you to 0 HP, the range of the burst increases to 10 ft.

Fetid Strikes

At 8th level, when a creature takes damage from one of your cantrips or weapon attacks, you can also deal 1d8 necrotic damage to that creature. Once you deal this damage, you can’t use this feature again until the start of your next turn.

Plague Spreaders

Starting at 17th level, any creature that is poisoned from your Foul Disgorge must succeed on a constitution saving throw at the beginning of each of their turns or become incapacitated, as they reel and retch, until the beginning of their next turn. When they fail the saving throw, an additional area of Foul Disgorge forms in that creature's space as well as 5 ft. around it.

The new location lasts for the remainder of the initial area of effect duration. When the first area of bile dissipates, so do the additional areas.
