Base Class: Barbarian
Those who revel in shedding blood and the adrenaline rush of riding the line between life and death. Those who walk the Path of the Reaver choose a high risk, high reward style of battle, one that is guaranteed to leave the battlefield soaked in blood. Whether it is their enemies or their own is difficult to tell. Most who walk this path live short and brutal lives but the few who survive become legends to their allies and haunt their enemies nightmares for centuries after.
Bloodbath
When you enter your rage, you take damage equal to one roll of your hit die + your constitution modifier in necrotic damage. This damage ignores any resistances or immunities you might have. When you take this damage then all additional melee weapon attacks you make while using reckless attack deal 1d6 extra necrotic damage on a hit so long as you are raging.
At 6th, 10th and 14th levels you take an extra hit die of damage when you begin your rage and your weapons deal an extra d6 of damage.
Devour and Consume
Once per turn when you recklessly attack a creature while bloodbath is active you can choose to restore hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt.
Aura of Pain
While raging, you can use your reaction to inflict psychic damage on the attacking creature equal to the damage you took.
Rampage
The thrill of killing invigorates and nourishes you. Whenever you attack a creature using reckless attack, you gain an additional attack with your attack action.
Deathseeker
The closer you are to death the stronger you become. While raging and you are equal to or below half your hit point total your bloodbath damage becomes d8’s. When your hit points are equal to or below 1/3 of your hit point total they become d10’s. When you are at 30hp or less they become d12’s.
Improved Relentless Rage (Replaces Relentless Rage)
If you drop to o hit points while raging and don’t die outright, you can make a DC 8 constitution saving throw instead of the usual DC 10. If you succeed then you drop to 1 hit point instead.
Every time you use this feature after the first the DC increases by 2 instead of 5. When you finish a short or long rest the DC resets to 8.
