Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

You have studied how to use your life force into extra power for your arcane spells.

Blood Aura

Beginning when you select tradition at 2nd level, you can use your hit points to refill spell slots. As a standard action, you may take 3 times the spell level of your choice to regain that spell slot back. You cannot spend hit points if your hit point total would be reduced to less than 1.

Endurance of Blood

When you cast a ranged spell attack, add your constitution modifier to the damage it deals on a hit. You cannot use this ability if your hit point total is 1.

Plasma Conduit

You know how to turn a wand, staff, or rod into an Plasma Conduit, a conduit for your spells. When you finish a long rest, you can scribe blood sigils into a wand, staff, or rod by spending one hit die thereby turn it into your arcane focus. The sigils disappear from the object if you later scribe new blood sigils on a different item. The sigils otherwise last indefinitely.

You can use your Plasma Conduit as a spellcasting focus for your spells. When you cast a spell through the Plasma Conduit, roll a d6, and you gain temporary hit points equal to number rolled.

Empowered Blood Aura

Your Blood Aura is more powerful. As a standard action, you may take 2 times the spell level of your choice to regain that spell slot back instead of 3 times the spell level. You cannot spend hit points if your hit point total would be reduced to less than 1.

Guidance of Ichor

You can tap into your life force to try to conjure success from failure. When you make an ability check that fails, you can spend a quarter of your current hit points to reroll the d20, and you must use the new roll, potentially turning the failure into a success. You cannot spend hit points if your hit point total would be reduced to less than 1.
