Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Pacifists excel in avoiding or escaping confrontation, and helping their allies to do the same. They have access to a huge range of spells, but can never use these to do damage

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of Redemption Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

Oath of Redemption Spells

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Emissary of Peace. You can use your Channel Divinity to augment your presence with divine power. As a bonus action, you grant yourself a +5 bonus to Charisma (Persuasion) checks for the next 10 minutes.

Divine Dodge. You can use your Channel Divinity to save those who use are attacked. Immediately after an attacker within 30 feet of you hits a creature other than you, you can use your reaction to teleport the victim 1d20ft in a random direction. The attacker makes a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the attack misses. On a successful save, it causes half the damage before teleportation occurs

Aura of Peace

Starting at 7th level, when a damage-dealing area of effect spell is centred within 30 ft. of you, you MUST, if possible, use your reaction to force the caster to make a DC15 save using their spellcasting stat. If they fail, their spell is replaced with a harmless effect such as an explosion of flowers or the release of a flock of doves (your choice). At 18th level, this increases to DC20

Spirit of Escape

Starting at 15th level, a holy presence helps you escape harm. Unless you are incapacitated, when your HP hits half, and again when it hits a quarter, of your max, your current location is obscured as if via fog cloud, then you are teleported 100ft in a random direction.

Paragon of Peace

At 20th level, you become a paragon of peace, which gives you two benefits:

  • All attacks against you are made with disadvantage.
  • Whenever a creature hits you with a weapon, you can heal another creature within 30ft of your location by the same amount of damage as the weapon itself does (excluding any special effect damage)
