Bard
Base Class: Bard

Dancers use the rhythm of their bodies and souls to fuel their art. When it comes to a fight, a they use their quick feet and perfected choreography to subvert the enemy, assist their friends, and entertain the passersby. A Dancer’s intricate movements channel magic through their bodies to suffuse the battlefield in an endless song.

Rhythm of the Heart

When you become a dancer at 3rd level, you can channel your magic through your body. As long as both your hands are free, and you have moved at least 5 feet on your turn, you can use your body as a spellcasting focus for your Bard spells.

Additionally, once per short rest, you have advantage on saving throws to resist any effect that would reduce your speed to 0.

Inspiring Choreography

When you become a Dancer at 3rd level, you gain the ability to influence the Weave within others using your dance.

As an action, you can spend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to grant a creature within 5 feet an extra action on their next turn. This extra action can be used only to take the Attack (one attack only), Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object actions.

Up the Tempo

Starting at 6th level, you can bring the speed of your dance up to a blistering pace. As a bonus action you can enter a Quickstep dance for 1 minute. It ends early if you don't move on your turn or you become incapacitated. While you are in your Quickstep you gain the following benefits:

  • Attack rolls against you have disadvantage.
  • Your movement speed increases by 20 feet, and all creatures of your choice that start their turn within 30 feet of you gain an additional 10 feet of movement speed.
  • You can add your Charisma modifier to damage and healing rolls for spells.

You can enter a Quickstep a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all uses after completing a long rest.

Perfection of Movement

At 14th level, you gain two new ways to use your Inspiring Choreography. When you use your Inspiring Choreography you can choose from the following two effects:

  • You can inspire any number of creatures within 5 feet of you, granting them all the same effects of Inspiring Choreography.
  • You can use both your action and your bonus action to grant one creature within 5 feet of you a full extra action on their next turn.
