Base Class: Monk
The practitioners of the Way of the Ichor are profound masters of their bodily functions, particularly their lifeblood. They delve into techniques that fortify, electrify, and alter both themselves and their adversaries. They harness their ki to jolt allies and adversaries alike, and through advanced control, they adeptly shield themselves from harm
Shocking Touch
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your understanding of the human body allows you to manipulate your enemy’s blood when you harness your ki. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw or be Shocked until the end of its second subsequent turn
Shocked:
- A Shocked creature's speed becomes halved, and it can't benefit from any bonus to its speed
- An Shocked creature can't take reactions
Hardened Shell
At 6th level, you acquire the capability to protect yourself when injured. You may use your reaction and expend 2 ki points to cast the Shield. The cost for this reaction reduces to 1 ki point when your health reaches or falls below 50%.
Closed Wounds
At 11th level, you gain the ability to harness the life force of defeated adversaries to heal yourself. Upon incapacitating an enemy, whether by lethal or non-lethal means, you can expend a bonus action to restore temporary hit points equal to 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level.
Brutal Coating
At 17th level, you unlock the ability to manipulate blood, enveloping yourself and others in a crimson sheath. As a free action, you can expend 4 ki points to command the blood in your vicinity, encasing your form for 2 minutes. This coating dissipates prematurely if you become incapacitated or perish. While ensconced, you can assume two distinct stances with a bonus action:
- Offense stance:
- Unarmed strikes inflict damage augmented by 2 times your wisdom modifier.
- Unarmed strikes receive a +3 bonus to their attack rolls.
- Defense stance:
- You can freely utilize Patient Defense, although it undergoes a 1-round cooldown after each use.
- You can freely employ Step of the Wind, but it also experiences a 1-round cooldown following each use.
