Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

The minds eye cannot perceive what the physical eye can, you can't imagine what is or isn't truly there.

Schrodinger's Box

Sometimes what you believed to be there is not truly there, blink and that mirage may shatter.

Every time you are not perceived by anyone within 120ft you can roll a d10 if you roll of 9-10 you gain the effect of the invisibility spell.

This can't be used again until to at least one being within 120ft sees you

Starting at 5th level, you can expend 1 or more sorcery points to reduce the roll requirement by 2 per sorcery point before rolling.

Starting  at 13th level, you gain the ability to cast either Darkness or Blindness/Deafness

Blindness/Deafness

You get the spell Blindness/Deafness as one of your known spells

Darkness

You get the spell Darkness as one of your known spells

Schrödinger's String

When you perceive Schrödinger's cat it seems lively and mobile, so much so that you start to move yourself whether or not you want to.

Whenever someone locks eye's with you, as a bonus action you may swap positions with that target.

This ability may only be used if you are standing whilst on any surface, and they must be on the same plane of existence.

you may only use this ability once per short rest. (must be in the material plane)

At 5th, 9th, and 13th level, you can either increase the amount of charges of Schrödinger's String or how many targets this can effect.

Schrödinger's Sting - Charges

At 5th, 9th, and 13th level, gain one use or charge to Schrödinger's String.

Schrödinger's String - Targets

At 5th, 9th, and 13th level, you can teleport one additional target.

Schrödinger's Theory

Some believe that Schrödinger's cat while in its non-existent state was in an unknown realm of probability, others believed it simply wasn't there. The simple answer is they were both correct. This created Schrödinger's Theory.

When you are not observed by anyone within 100ft you may choose to exist on the probable plane. (may only stay in the probable plane for one turn)

This may only be used twice per long rest. (must be in the material plane)

The Probable plane is a state between existence and non-existence where one can peer into the material world. One can move a long distance, relative to their own understanding of space. Due to the nature of the probable plane, and the lack of physical limitations, time moves quicker at a 1:7 ratio.

Starting at level 13 you'll gain the option between either Schrodinger Hypothesis or Schrodinger's Peers.

Schrodinger's Hypothesis

Every time they try to grasp the theory, it seemed to elude them on how it's work.

Whilst existing on the probable plane you can expend 2 sorcery point at the start of your turn to remain in the probable plane for an additional turn.

Schrodinger's Peers

There are many people who were interested in Schrodinger's theory, but not very many could comprehend and were even were known to pass out from the sheer amount of knowledge needed.

Whenever you are within 5 feet of any humanoid or creature living or unliving, you can expend 2 sorcery point (if willing), or 2 x double per each size larger than tiny  and equal to or lower than your CR (if unwilling), to mark a creature with Schrodinger's decision. While marked with Schrodinger's decision the humanoid or creature will be transferred to the probable plane with you and become incapacitated whilst inside the probable plane. All humanoid or creatures are immune to all damage, harmful effects, and are protected from the negative effects of the probable plane. Upon leaving the probable plane all humanoid or creatures will be transported back to the material plane relative to their position in the probable plane.

Probable Reality

One could say that 30 wolfs appearing on your head is not possible, but in all reality probability says that the number is never 0%.

Once per long rest (must be in the material plane) as an action you can summon a variety of items or souls, if this summon involves a boss item, it can only be used once.

  • Non-magical items up to 20lbs (for example fire bomb, sword, lockpick)
  • Summon 50lbs of non-essential and non-magical material and move it up to 30ft centered on you
  • Summon up to your challenge rating worth of enemies that you have beaten and fully studied (if attempting to summon a boss, you can only summon it one and must use a personal item deigned by the DM to be valuable enough to the boss)
  • One magical item you own for one turn

These items can only persist for one turn.

Starting at level 20 when you select an option from Probable Reality, you can use a bonus action to swap the summoned item to a different option without expending sorcery points.

Schrödinger's Answer

Schrodinger couldn't shake the claw in his side of the paradox he'd created, until one fateful morning he had an epiphany on his deathbed. He exclaimed that "The cat is both alive and dead!" Hence the paradox was solved.

Whenever you are not observed within 50ft you can decide whether or not to be in a dying state (can work while in the dying state.) If this is done you recover all spell slots of 3rd level or lower; if you choose to not be in a dying state your HP is set to 1, if you choose to stay in that dying state but you'll recover spell slots of 5th level or lower. if you chose to come out of the dying state you must use half your current maximum sorcery points.

You can only use this feature once per long rest. (must be in the material plane)

At level 20, you when you put yourself into the dying state you recover all spell slots of 5th or lower and choose to recover one 7th or 8th level spell slot, if you take yourself out of the dying state you recover spells of 5th or lower and recover half of your HP. Additionally all Schrödinger's abilities gain one extra charge.
