Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Path of the Blood Rage is followed by those who find joy in battle and often are chaotic in alignment. If they are religious they probably worship deities like Gruumsh, the Raven Queen, or Tiamat. Their pain fuels their rage.

Although not a practitioner of hemocraft, Bloodragers have magic innate to their blood which manifests as they grow more powerful. This does not allow for spell casting, rather granting physical defense mechanisms for the Bloodrager and their allies.

Blood Debt

When you choose this path your rage burns hottest when someone else draws first blood. When raging, if you attack a creature that damaged you on their last turn, you get Advantage on your first attack against them.

Blood Shield

At 6th level when an ally within 30 feet of you takes damage you can use a reaction to roll 2d6 and take that damage onto yourself. If you roll for more damage than your ally took you can choose to either disregard the excess hit points or take them on yourself in order to heal your ally.
If you roll a critical hit before the end of your next turn, you can add that 2d6 to the damage and remove it from yourself.

Blood Shards

At 10th level once per rage you can choose to use a bonus action to weaponize your blood. The more blood has been spilled the better. As you tap deeper into your rage you can will your blood to harden into sharp shards of glass and hurl them in a 20 foot circle around you. Any creature within this range takes piercing damage that scales based upon your current hit points.

Hit Points Below HP Maximum:

1-10 = 1d6

11-20 = 2d6

21-50 = 3d6

If you are at 1 hit point you can roll 10d6 in a last ditch effort to turn the tides in your favor.

Blood of the Undying

The innate power within your blood has grown exponentially. If you reach 0 hit points while raging, you no longer need to make Death Saving Throws. Like the zealot, though you are unconscious your body continues fighting as you are overtaken by something greater than yourself and cannot die while raging.

Once your rage ends you are beholden to the usual rules of being unconscious.
