Way of the Storm King

Monks who have trained in the way of the storm king have used their ki to harness the power of storm giants

Storm Magic

When you choose this subclass at third level, you gain the cantrips booming blade and lightning lure as well as the first level spell chaos bolt which you can use once per short or long rest. Also, you gain two extra ki points per level. Also, your damage changes. Bludgeoning becomes thunder, and piercing and slashing become lightning.

Power of the storm

Harnessing the power of the storm has granted you proficiency in martial weapons.

Speed of the Storm

You can use the step of the wind feature without using a ki point. 

Ripping current

Your improved power over the storm has granted you power over water. Starting at 11th level, you can spend 2 ki points to douse enemies with water making them vulnerable to lightning and thunder damage.

Roaring wind

The power over the storm has given you command of the wind. Starting at 6th level, your movement speed increases by ten, and you can make a dexterity check when you attack someone to push them back ten feet.

Gatekeeper of the storm

You now have full control over the storm. Starting at 17th level, you can use 18 ki points to cast storm of vengeance.
