At 2nd level, you delve into the ancient arcane rituals of shapeshifting, forming an intricate bond with a creature from the natural world. This mystical connection allows you to select the form of a beast, fey, monstrosity, elemental, or plant with a challenge rating of 3 or lower. Then, form a magical bond with that type of creature. Using an arcane transformation as a bonus action, you assume your chosen creature's physical characteristics, abilities, movements, and unique traits. While transformed, your mental faculties, including intellect, wisdom, charisma, and racial features, remain unaffected. You retain your current hit points and armor class, gaining temporary hit points equal to 20 plus twice your druid level.

This transformation lasts for a duration of hours equal to half your proficiency bonus and can be performed a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, resetting upon completion of a short or long rest. This arcane mastery allows you to embody the essence of the natural world selectively, blending your wizardly intellect with the strengths and abilities of the chosen form.

Starting at 6th level, The primal pathways open up before you and new pathways are discovered. You can now bond to a more powerful creature up to CR level 5 and attacks while in your bonded form become magical.

Your base movement speed increases by 15 feet, allowing you to traverse distances with heightened swiftness.

At 14th level, should you fall unconscious or reach the brink of defeat, the latent energies of your mystical bond surge forth. As your consciousness fades, a spectral manifestation of your bonded creature materializes to aid you in your dire moment. This apparition mirrors the abilities and traits of your chosen bonded form, acting as an ethereal ally that fights alongside your allies.

This spectral entity remains for a duration of 1 minute or until you regain consciousness, lending its aid to your party with the fervor of a loyal companion. Once this spectral manifestation dissipates or your consciousness returns, a mystical connection between yourself and your bonded creature strengthens, resonating with the enduring resilience.
