Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

A skilled non-magical healer that has put in years of study into anatomy and herbalism to maximize their ability to heal others.

Medical Savant

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Insight and Medicine skills, and you gain proficiency with the herbalism kit.

The gold you must spend to buy a Healer’s kit or herbalism kit is halved.

Quick Treatment

At 3rd level, your medical touch can mend wounds. As an action, you can touch a creature and restore a number of hit points equal to a roll of your Sneak Attack dice + your Intelligence modifier.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a short or long rest.

Fast Movement

Starting at 9th level, your speed increases by 10 feet while you aren’t wearing medium or heavy armor.

Elite Physician

At 13th level, you are skilled at using your medical knowledge in dire situations. When you make a successful Intelligence (Medicine) check or use a healer’s kit to stabilize a creature, that creature regains hit points equal to your level in rogue and is still unconscious. This ability also applies the bonus to the Healer feat.

Alternatively, you spend a use of the healer's kit on a creature to end one of the following conditions affecting the creature: blinded, deafened, paralyzed, poisoned, or stunned.

Field Doctor

At level 17, all of your study and experience pay off when it matters most. You can spend one minute and 5 uses of a healer’s kit to work on the corpse of a creature that died within the last minute and the body is still mostly intact. The creature then returns to life, regaining one hit point.

This closes all mortal wounds, but it doesn't restore missing body parts. If the creature is lacking body parts or organs integral for its survival--its head, for instance--this automatically fails. Additionally you cannot return to life a creature that has died of old age, nor can it restore any missing body parts.

Coming back from the dead is an ordeal. The target takes a −4 penalty to all attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks. Every time the target finishes a long rest, the penalty is reduced by 1 until it disappears.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
