Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

your very essence has no limits. your soul echoes to the edges of infinity and reaches to the outskirts of the astral plane. you can make yourself untouchable and even send someone to the edge of the universe.

mana wellspring

you get one extra cantrip from the sorcerer spell list, this doesn't count against the number of cantrips you know

limitless

you gain access to the limitless die, a die that you can use to change and manipulate the magic around you. when you are forced to make a physical saving throw(str, dex, con), you can roll your limitless die as a reaction and subtract the number rolled from the save DC. you can also use this feature against attack rolls.

if you reduce a save DC or attack roll to a 2, 1, or 0, you take necrotic damage equal to the number rolled

your limitless die is a d6 at 1st level, a d8 at level 5, a d10 at level 10, and a d12 at level 13

astral void

you can send someone to the edge of the astral plane. your target must succeed on a charisma saving throw or be sent to the astral plane with you for 1d6 rounds or until one of you reaches zero. when you two are in the astral plane, you gain the following benefits

  • your attacks have advantage, their attacks have disadvantage
  • your attacks count as critical on a 17, 18, 19, or a 20. and you can't critically fail an attack roll
  • all saving throws the opposing creature makes are made at disadvantage
  • other creatures can't interact with you or the other creature while either of you are in the astral plane

if the creature brings you below half of your hit point maximum, you both return to the material plane. a creature can also travel into the astral plane to get to you through other means(such as putting a bag of holding into a portable hole)
