Bard
Base Class: Bard

The skills of a Bard are not restricted to just performing, chatting, and their looks. Why, the culinary arts are just as impressive and a lot more tasty! The College or Flavor Bard introduces a delicious spin on how Bardic Inspirations are utilized, as they can prepare unique meals to buff their party or themselves.

Culinary Expert

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in medium armor, Cook’s utensils, and the Survival skill, and whenever you make an ability check to cook a meal, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

Also, if a non-hostile creature consumes a meal that you have prepared, you have advantage on your next Charisma (Persuasion) or Charisma (Deception) check towards them.

Start the Day Right

Starting at 3rd level, you can utilize your cooking skills while your party is at rest. Whenever you finish a short or long rest, you can expend your Bardic Inspirations to create unique meals that can bolster you and your allies. Roll a d6 to determine which cuisine you make or choose from the table below. You can expend as many uses of your Bardic Inspiration to make these meals, and each use of your Bardic Inspiration creates two meals. All unique meals created during that short/long rest must be of the same type. The quality of the meal depends on whether you took a short or long rest, as seen on the table, and if you have the proper ingredients, given the DM’s approval.

6 - Mystery

When consumed, roll on this table to see which benefit you receive.

When consumed, roll on this table to see which benefit you receive. You can roll twice and choose which unique meal you want.

You can use your bonus action to toss a meal to a friendly creature within 15ft. of you. On their turn, a creature holding a meal can use a free action to consume a cuisine and gain its unique benefit. A creature can only be affected by one benefit at a time, and if they were to consume a different meal, they would lose the prior benefit and gain the new benefit. The benefit of the meal ends after the creature takes a long rest, consumes another unique meal, or dies.

After you finish your next long rest, any lesser-quality meals left over from before magically get discarded, and any greater-quality meals become lesser-quality.

Delicious Resurgence

At 6th level, your dishes become so delicious that they can reawaken the might of any being who tastes your craft. All your unique meals now restore hit points equal to your Proficiency Modifier. If a creature comes back from 0 hit points because of your unique meals, they also gain temporary hit points equal to your Bard level that last until the next dawn.

Bardic Leftovers

At 14th level, you learn to not waste food, nor your inspiration. Whenever you make unique meals, you can use any amount of your Bardic Inspirations that you had remaining from before your long rest instead of after.
