Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of the Endeared at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium armor and firearms.

Song of the Heart

3rd level College of the Endeared feature

Speaking of your partner invokes a small mote of their power you hold in their love for you. Gain access to the Eldritch Blast cantrip. It does not count against known Bard cantrips.

Cherished Focus

3rd level College of the Endeared feature

You channel your art through the symbol of your love. Be it a pact of marriage or the bond of a promise made in passion. You can use the following objects as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells: a wedding band, a small bag of rice or an old coin, a roll of ribbon, a copy of your vows, or a clipping from a tree.
Starting at 6th level, when you grant bardic inspiration to a creature, the Bard can use the same roll on their turn for an attack roll, a saving throw, or a skill check. This does not count against number of bardic inspirations expended.

The Vows

3rd level College of the Endeared feature

Your time spent in the splendor of your love’s presence has suffused you with the whimsy to wax great workings. You can, even at a great distance, feel the presence of their soul against your very own and can grasp the power within that. Such a love has gifted you the ability to shine the brilliance of your own bond upon those around you. As a bonus action, through your cherished focus, you can grant one creature bardic inspiration that takes the shape of your romance in the form used.
Sickness and Health. If the creature uses bardic on an attack roll and has less than max HP, they heal the same number rolled plus the bard’s level. If the creature is at max health when used, they instead fall under the effect of Blade Ward .

Till Death. If the creature uses bardic for an ability check, this can include death saving throws. Furthermore, because the bonds of love are strung tightly between two, if the creatures fails even after using the bardic die then the Bard can use a reaction to make the same roll and add their charisma modifier. If you succeed where they failed, they pass the check. If you fail, you take damage that is equal to the bardic die rolled.

For Better, For Worse. If the creature uses bardic for a saving throw, they can add your charisma modifier if the bardic dice does not pass. If this does not pass still, you can use a reaction to grant a second bardic inspiration they must use immediately.

Keen Longing

6th level College of the Endeared feature

After so much time apart, you can preform an hour long ritual to touch on the vibrant link between you and your partner channeled through your spellcasting focus. You can preform one of three actions for this ritual. By choosing one, the ritual is complete and this cannot be preformed again until the top of your next long rest.
Knowing. You can share the broad knowledge housed within your partner’s mental library. Temporarily gain access to a spell of any class or gain a proficiency in a skill you do not already have proficiency in. These do not count against your spells known.
Feeling. Beseech your partner for aid in the coming day. Temporarily gain +5 to max hp. These will be taken from your partner until the start of your next long rest.
Trusting. Reveal struggle to your partner and trust in their ability to support you. For the day, you will gain a +1 to your AC until your next long rest.

Secure Embrace

14th level College of the Endeared feature

Starting at 14th level, your bond to your chosen has grown so strong that you will not break even to death. If you make a death saving throw at the start of your turn, your partner bears half the burden. You pass all checks with a 5 or above. Once you are stable, after having passed three checks, you bypass the need for healing and instead come back to consciousness. You may stand up without expending any movement. If you do not hit 0 hit points after taking the subsequent turn, you will heal for half your maximum hit points. Any creature within ten feet of you who are allied to you take half as much of that healing.
